Taehyung's eyes widened in surprise when he noticed that the tattooed boy was finally warming up to him.
Jungkook. so that was his name. honestly it suited him.
"you seem sad Jungkook."
Jungkook cocked an eyebrow at him before sighing and looking up at the sky, that's when Taehyung realised that the rain had stopped pouring down so he quickly closed the umbrella before gazing back at jungkook as he took his time to admire his side profile....he had a strong jawline and big doe like eyes that were admiring the night sky and Taehyung swore he saw the galaxies in his eyes.
it sounded so cheesy that he hated to admit that the tattooed male was different then anyone he has ever met.
"I'm not sad, I just feel tired you know? I wanna feel alive but I don't really know where to start from." in Taehyung's eyes the boy sounded really sincere and vulnerable despite his tough facade.
Taehyung sighed before saying, "I'm not gonna be one of those people who say everything will be okay 'cause life is one hell of a tough ride but you gotta keep going right? as long as you are at ease you wont find it hard to breathe."
jungkook's eyes studied his face closely for a few seconds before he spoke out, "I'm glad you are not one of those people who say 'everything will be okay' cause that talk is overrated...like what if I don't want to be okay? what if I like this eerie feeling? I mean I'm not particularly sad but I'm still mad at myself for a lot of things but that doesn't mean that I wanna stay happy all the time, cause we human beings are like seasons .. we can't always be happy and positive, rainy and cold days are a part of our lives too...people need to normalize the idea of showing emotions instead of wrapping them up with the cover of 'just be happy and things will get better' talks."
Taehyung felt his breath hitching at the sound of the raw feelings that poured out of the boy's mouth as if they were coming straight from his heart. he couldn't help but get lost in his own thoughts after hearing how truthful and honest Jungkook was.
"you are someone I wish to be like." Taehyung blurted out.
Jungkook looked at him in confusion before taehyung continued, "you sound honest and you sound comfortable with fighting off your own demons and that is something not a lot of people can accept fully."
Jungkook just gave him a bitter smile in return and said, "trust me...you don't wanna be like me, I'm quite weak but I can never admit that out loud."
"well you just did." Taehyung said while giggling and he saw the ravenette's lips slightly tucking upwards in a ghost of a smile.
"it's getting late, you should go back." Jungkook said.
but the truth was Taehyung didn't want to leave cause finally after years he found himself somewhat at peace and he was confused about why he was feeling this way. but he knew he had to back cause the real world was calling him.
"what about you though? you should go back home too, the weather is cold." he couldn't help but feel concerned about the raven haired boy.
"don't worry about me, this is my permanent spot anyway." Taehyung couldn't help but overthink if there was a hidden meaning behind jungkook's words.....call him delusional but he thought the boy was trying to let him know that he'll be here tomorrow too.
Taehyung shook his head to get rid of those thoughts before he got up and faced the direction back to his house....in other words back to the haunting reality but he couldn't help but turn around and glance back at Jungkook and before he could fully understand what he was gonna say he blurted out loudly:
