3. The Horde

Some time after the interrogation, Caleb's been introduced to the princesses, now he is being guided by Glimmer through the hallway of Brightmoon.

Glimmer: "Just down that hallis the meeting room, that door right in front of you is Adora's room and here is the end of it."

She opens up a door next to Adora's room.

Glimmer: "Tada! Your own room!"

Caleb walks in and looks around in awe. He's never seen anything like this.

Caleb: "Oh my, my. This place is like a palace."

Glimmer smiles and she teleports in front of him.

Glimmer: "Allow me to show you more. Here you got your bed, bathtub, waterfall, everything! Now please enjoy yourself here. And I'll see you later!"

She teleports and Caleb looks around the room and looks out the window and he takes his mask and his beanie off. He looks at his reflection and sighs. He remembers the wound on his nose, he puts the mask back on and places his beanie on a table, he lays down on the bed, he gasps as he nearly sinks into it.

Caleb: "Soft bed. Jeez, I'll have to get used to it."

He gets up and checks his watch. The time is 15:42 PM. He sighs and decides to sleep. He takes his mask off and closes his eyes and falls into his slumber.

Timeskip...

*BOOM*

Caleb wakes up with a jolt and gasps. A booming noise is heard, he puts his mask on and grabs his beanie and gear. He opens the door and sees glimmer running down the hallway.

Caleb: "Glimmer, what's happening?"

Glimmer: "It's the Horde, they're attacking us!"

Caleb: "Damn! I'll get my weapons."

He grabs his backpack and loads his pistol and his rifle and shotgun. He puts on his backpack and his ISAC brick on the strap of the backpack activates.

ISAC: "Unknown hostiles closing in."

Caleb: "No sh*t Sherlock."

He arrives outside with everyone else and he looks down the castle to see a massive army of men and women in silver armour with robots shaped as spheres with 3 spider like legs. Queen Angella is inside the castle, safe.

Caleb: "This is the Horde? It's a gosh damn army."

Adora: "We need Catra alive."

Caleb: "Who?"

Adora points to a woman who's standing by with the army. Caleb grabs out some binoculars to have a closer look.
(Again, I know binoculars aren't in the Division.)

Caleb: "You mean that cat girl?"

Adora: "We need to capture her. She's my friend in some way and she has valuable information."

Caleb: "I see. Well I'm sure there's some way we can convince her to join you, well...us."

An explosion was heard and Caleb and the others look mext to them to see a piece of the castle blown off.

Caleb: "Oh sh*t!"

Adora looks down at the army and decides that it's time to fight.

Adora: "For the honour of Grayskull!"

She summons her armour and the others summon their powers. Caleb cocks his rifle. Glimmer then grabs onto everyone and teleports them down there with her. Caleb steps forward towards the army closing in, surprising everyone.

Adora: "Caleb, what are you doing?"

Caleb: "Defending the castle. Stay put."

Switching perspectives...

Kyle: "Who is that?"

Catra: "I'm not sure, but he seems easy to takedown as he isn't wearing anything that could defend him."

Lonnie: "Looks like it, but what is he holding?"

Switching perspectives...

Caleb starts running and he aims his weapon, then...loud shots were heard. He opens fire, destroying the robots first and killing some of the soldiers.

Catra: "What the?! Our robots! Destroy him!"

Caleb throws a grenade, destroying a tank of theirs. He kills more soldiers and the rebels stand by and watch.

Glimmer: "Alright! He's killing it!"

Adora: "How is he doing that?"

Caleb grabs one of the soldiers who tries to hit him with a baton, he pulls her over his shoulder and tosses her onto the ground and shoots her in the stomach. He shoots down more robots and he grabs out a seeker mine and it rolls towards the enemies and explodes in a cluster. He switches weapons and uses his shotgun to blow off a leg of a robot.

Caleb: "Bring it on!"

A soldier charges towards Caleb and he shoves the soldier back before shooting his shoulder and then his chest.

Catra: "Move in. We're distracting him. Destroy the castle!"

Make Horde soldier: "Yes Captain!"

They fire onto the castle destroying another part of it. He grabs out his pistol and goes all in. He charges and kills more and more soldiers. Making his way towards the tank destroying the castle. He goes John Wick on the soldiers.

Caleb: "Not today you filthy sons of b*tches! In fact, not ever!"

He gets to the tank and throws a grenade in it. He jumps off and an explosion occurs. Caleb sees Catra disappear among the soldiers, one soldier starts running and the others flee. Caleb lowers his weapon. He sighs in relief. The princesses rush over and praise him with a crushing hug.

Glimmer: "Alright!"

Bow: "That was certainly something!"

Adora: "Well I guess we owe you."

Caleb: "Nonsense. I'm just doing whatever's right, defending innocent lives."

Glimmer: "Can't wait to tell my mother about this! You're a hero!"
