I remember chuckling at the Song, I remember bumping into someone, I remember bending down to take the book that fell from my hand,

And then, I remember being met by the most mesmerizing blue eyes ever.
Oh gosh I should stop staring!

I snapped out of thought and quickly collected my book, stood up.

He stood up at the same time.
" I'm so sorry love!"
"No no! I'm sorry. I was kinda daydreaming at bumped into you." I responded, this time taking a proper look at him, not just his eyes.
I know this guy. That's Niall Horan. I was mentally calling Alia to let her know I met one of her idols.
He let out a contagious laugh, "That's alright!"

I smiled, "Well then, Goodbye!" I said, shuffling my feet towards the terminal.

"This is to announce that the flight 284 from Amsterdam to England, Heathrow has been delayed an hour. Passengers please proceed to your respective lounges until further notice"
I let out a groan.

"Well, looks like you're traveling to London too!" I jumped at Niall's voice. Surprised that he's still here.

"Yeah I am" I responded with a smile.

"Do you live here?"
"Yeah, I do. I was born in Amsterdam."

"That's cool!" He replied. I stood there shuffling awkwardly.
"Well... umm I gotta go... nice meeting you, Niall" I smiled.
He looked kinda surprised " you know who I am?"

"Yeah of course. My sister. Alia is kinda obsessed with you guys." I let out a nervous laughter.

He chuckled in response. "That's sweet. What's your name?"

"My name is Anika" I smiled.

"Well then Anika, it was a pleasure bumping into you! I hope we meet again!"

"Thank you, Good bye!" And I turned around and walked towards Starbucks. Cautiously this time, making sure I don't bump into anyone.

I ordered a grande iced mocha latte for myself, settled onto a seat in the corner of the cafe, and called my best friend.

"Aniiii, I'm gonna miss you!"
"I'm gonna miss you too Jenna. I'm sorry I missed your call earlier today. I was running late."
Jenna, my best friend.
Other than Alia, it was Jenna who's always been by my side. Got me back on my feet.
I remembered all those days, when she'd stay beside me, through everything. I couldn't help the tears from slipping . I sniffled.
"Anika Ahmed. Don't you dare cry."
"I'm sorry. Jenna, how can I do this? I miss him. I don't think going to London is gonna change that."
"Babe, you know that's not what we want from you. We don't want you to forget Armaan, we want you to get rid of the guilt, of the nightmares, we want you to start dreaming of your life again. Ani, we love you. This is good for you. Trust me."
I sniffled again, "Okay"
"Now, how long do you have till you need to get onto the flight?"
I took a look at my watch, "25 minutes"
"Alright, go to the restroom? I know you'd have packed tissues, you freshen up and go. Get into that flight. Go kick some serious London ass!"
I laughed at her words, " I love you Jen, Take care"
"You too babe. And I love you! Now go!"
And so I cut the call, went into the restroom, got a tissue out of my backpack, wiped my smudged eyeliner off, applied them again, and stepped out, only to bump into someone again.
Only this time, I fell on the floor.

"Ouch" I groaned.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry love"
"It's alright"
"Anika?"
I snapped my head up at the mention of my name,
Great. I bumped into Niall again.
"Hi Niall, sorry that I bumped into you again."
"No no that was totally my fault"
I shrugged as if to say it's alright.
"All passengers to England, Heathrow airport can now board the flight."

"That's me" I said.
"That's great! Coz that's us too! But I gotta go with my friends, so I'll see you on the plane probably?"
I smiled, and waved at him As he ran towards Starbucks. That's weird, I guess I didn't notice them there.

I walked towards Starbucks, got hold of my bags, and headed straight to the gate, and soon enough, found my seat on the plane.
My dad was able to get me a business class ticket, so there weren't many people in this section of the plane.

I made myself comfortable, turned off my phone after leaving a message to my parents that I've boarded the flight, and I fished my backpack for my book.

I took hold of the battered copy of Anne of green gables. And soon enough, I started feeling drowsy, so drowsy, that I did not even sense someone taking the seat next to me.
So drowsy. that I didn't realize I fell asleep hugging the book with all my life.
