I step out of the cab that brought me exactly where I asked him to go. Still, even though I was the one who asked him to I almost felt forced to go.
"Thanks." I paid the driver.
When the man had left I turned back to the building. Jellyfish Entertainment head department. I grip my bag around my shoulder.
I had my laptop, pen and paper for notes and the pass boss gave me to get in here. I walk to the glass doors getting stared at by several girls almost literally camping before the building.
'Aww, desperate.'
I show security the pass and go in. I mean, I know who Vixx was. I didn't have to look them up, but I never expected wild campers before their managing companies' doors.
On the other side, maybe I should have. Their name had raised quite a lot the past months being one of the reasons I'm here.
My boss thought it was time to test them. Kpop groups have been steamed ready from the beginning of my career to pass my judgment.
Why you ask? Because for some reason I seem to be the one that is able to steer people on that point. For example, whole Korea loves one song, but I think it ain't that great for a couple of reasons. I honestly write what I think and suddenly a month later whole Korea changes it's mind.
Saying; OMO how could I have liked this song, she is so right it's so bad, I hate all their numbers now! Bla bla bla.
And that while I never said I hated it and other should too. I just said what I thought.
I walk through the halls. I had been at Jellyfish Entertainment a couple of times before for other bands so I knew the way around here.
Everyone I passed started to whisper, wondering who the next victim was to the maker or breaker. My boss even called me his secret weapon.
My last report was actually about a group from Jellyfish. I didn't like them that much. Nothing special. So you might guess what happened to them.
A young girl passed me looking to the ground. She must be new here. She knew about me and was afraid to get broken down by me for looking wrong.
Seriously, people made me sound so much worse than I am though. While I walk Mr. Go joins me matching my pace.
"It's an honor to have you here again Kayla. Vixx has been looking forward to this moment very much and they have been very excited and nervous all day." I just give him a slight smile.
Don't get me wrong I like Mr. Go. He is good for his groups but I get this "they're so nervous they might say things they don't mean" kind of thing every time I come wherever I come.
Under the gaze of many other colleges of Vixx and Mr. Go we go towards the meeting room he stashed the boys to wait for me.
Before he opens the door he turns to me again. I straightened my monster hat and red hair out of habit while he once again put up a talk about please forgiving them if they said something wrong.
I already knew that talk too. "Don't worry Mr. Go, I won't be any harder on them then I am on others. If their cool their cool."
That doesn't seem to relax him though. He smiles awkwardly nodding probably worried sick about the future of his latest group.
When I enter it's like a whole group of five year olds have been playing with paper in this place. Only instead of a whole group, it was just the six members of Vixx. They didn't look that nervous at all.
