Ali POV

Ali: that feels great babe.

Emily: good.

I try to hold in my moan.

Ali: my feet were so swollen.

Emily: I can see baby.

Ali: listen. I want to talk.

Emily: about?

Ali: you not going back.

I rub my bump.

Emily: why?

Ali: we are having a baby a daughter who needs her dad. Alive. I love what you are doing but I don't think it good to do it now.

Emily: baby it's my job.

Ali: you can always find a new job. One where you can be here for our daughter and me.

He looks up at me.

Emily: lets have a good 2 weeks I don't want to fight.

I grab his hand. I put it on my stomach.

Ali: she needs you babe. She needs her daddy more than she needs her mom. She needs to know what a real man is. Not some pictures.

Emily: it's just that-

Ali: I don't care. If you love her you'll stay.

Emily: baby were not doing this right now.

He gets up.

Ali: no come on why won't you stay?!

Emily: cause it's my job!

I try to get up from the couch. It's a little hard. I finally get up.

Ali: I know that but seeing our daughter grow up should give you more motivation to stay! You felt her how could you have a thought about leaving again?!

Emily: cause I know that what I do will keep her safe from the horrible world! I know that I am protecting her when I'm out there!!

Ali: but are you going to here for anything?

Emily: I can try!

Ali: you won't be here for her first step, talking, crawling, laughing, claps, and when she try's food for the first time.

Emily: I know I won't be there for the big stuff but I have to-

Ali: no you don't! No you don't! You are staying Emily! If you leave....I want a divorce! I can't keep doing this I thought I could! I can't live my life as a single mom with you coming in and out! It hurts so much!

I don't want him to leave so I have to do this.

Emily: baby I can't just leave them.

Ali: then find a fucking away!

I push past him. I head upstairs to the baby's room. We got a lot of gifts from our families and friends. I have to wash a pile of clothes in the corner. I bend down and grab it. I walk to the laundry room. I look at all of the clothes. They are so cute.
