Little blue ball

There was a girl who walked to the bus stop every morning

She walked back after school

To and from the bus stop

Every day a little girl stood at the curb bouncing her little blue ball

Every day

A little blue ball

She never moved

And she never dropped the ball

At night if you look out the window you can see her stood bouncing her little blue ball

She doesn't sleep or eat it change her clothes

She just bounces her little blue ball

One day I came to find no little girl

It was sad

I liked that little girl

She was constant

She never left

I could count on the fact that every day there would be a little girl bouncing her little blue ball

When we got to school they showed us old police reports for crimes they never solved

I saw a pile on missing children

And there was a little girl

Stood with her little blue ball

It said that the last thing she said to her parents before going missing was

Make sure she doesn't miss her bus

That little girl

Was my little girl

The one that stands and bounces her little blue ball

She looks the same age but this report is three years old

When I got back

I looked up the house the stands outside

It says the people that lived there where killed by a little girl

Who later was never found

But all they found was her little blue ball in the basement

With chains

Anyone would assume they are the people who kidnapped this little girl

But the reports said nothing of the missing children's report

Then I thought

That little girl would never leave behind her little blue ball

So that little girl never left

It was dark out

And cold

So I put on my big coat

And I stepped out onto the drive of the little girl with the little blue balls resting place

And I walked through the unlocked door

I looked around

It was so dark

I found the door to the basement

I opened it

I heard bouncing

I stepped out

The cold steps could be felt through my shoes

There was the little blue ball

Bouncing

But no girl

I looked below the steps

There was a door

Locked with seven locks

The hinges looked broken so I thought I could just pry the door off

So I did that

And in the corner sat a skeleton

In a little dress

With a brown teddy bear

With a little purple ribbon tied in a bow around it's neck

I looked at the door

She was pointing at it

Carved on the door was you shouldn't have taken your eyes of the way out

I stepped back

And looked up

It was locked

And the ball was still bouncing

I grabbed the ball getting irritated by the noise

Who took me?How did they trap me? And how did she know?

Then it's like I left my body

I was in my house

Trapped in my own mind

I approached my parents

And said

Don't let her miss the bus

Every day,

A little girl that moved into the house after the old owners said they needed a fresh start after their daughter went missing

Walked to the bus stop

And back after school

To and from

Every day she say two little girls stood on the curb bouncing their little blue balls

Every day
