Victoria was running away from the Phantoms and Zombies, Just as she thought that she was having a great day. Her friends were back at the base waiting for her to return with supplies, Victoria had a little conversation in her head, it went a little like, "Hey, Don't be alarmed but we are in a bit of a dilemma over here." No response... "Hey you hear me we are in a crisis lad" Still no response, and then i thought to myself, " So this how I die innit", I ran with no plans and tried to figure something out. I knew these Phantoms and Zombies were plain 'ol dumb and slow, so as soon as a turn came I took a sharp right and ran straight towards the base.
I know what your thinking, "Where the hell did Phantoms and Zombies just come from? Do they just sprout outta nowhere?"
The answer to that is No. They don't sprout outta anywhere, they either crawl and slither or shuffle walk towards you. This whole zombie started back in 2020, the year of misfortune and terrors.
In a horrid day of August 15th, 2020
A zombie virus was introduced. People did not take it seriously, they thought that the government was joking. They had enough in their platter for the time being. But soon the virus spread like a raging wildfire. A teeny bit of physical contact from an infected person would make a non-infected person corrupt. The virus enters your system and wrecks it within 10 hours. But soon the people who survived through the first wave (like me and my friends), were immune to the spread of the virus by physical contact, but if one of those shaggy Phantoms and Zombies bit us, we would turn into a zombie with 15 minutes. Isn't that just wonderful! And the Zombies that had evolved, well one punch from those guys and you would become a human falafel. Soon enough all the survivors had their own Guilds. I and my friends live under the guild Blackhearts. Now enough History, Back to the story (See what I did there:v )
I reached the base panting, I stood in front of the gigantic metal door that was controlled by a keypad. I punched down the combination on the Keypad and as soon as the door opened I sprinted through and got into the Common Room and the aura of the room was sour, I looked around and I recognized a few of my friends Atlas and Desmond, I ran up to them and asked, "Whats up with everyone's mood here? It's so... Gloomy." Atlas and Desmond gave me a crestfallen look, I then looked at them and said, " Just tell me already! I just came from a long day of running away from Phantoms".
Atlas and Desmond looked at me and dejectedly said,
"Zeke is dead."
