All I remembered were the crashing waves and the speedboats coming at me with full speed. Small things were thrown into the water to scare away the full grown parents but they stayed close. I couldn't find my mother. I dived underwater where most calves like me were hidden by their parents. I screeched. My mother nudged me with her melon and pushed me toward her. We all went up for air and tried to find a way to leave the captive nets. They used a pole thingy with a loop on the end to pull me away from my mother and father. What I thought were alien creatures-tugged the net pulling me closer to the boat. A large machine was heavily dropped to the surface of the water. I freaked calling for my family who watched nearby. My father swam at a steady pace looking for an opening to the net. I screamed as they covered me in another net. My mother wailed louder than ever before. My fathers instinct was to attack but there was know way he could. I cried loud enough for everybody to know that I felt dreadful. I tried diving underwater but they were stronger than me. I rammed my head against the side of the boat dangerously in fear. I struggled to move as they carefully brought the machinery to a nearby stop from where I was floating lifelessly. I heard the noisiness all around me with fear in my eyes and they saw it. The aliens laughed as one of my ancestors drowned with dead dark eyes. I felt alone all of a sudden and whined for my mother. She came to the surface and cried out to me. They pulled and pushed me into the big lift thingy. At last I gave up. My home was going to be taken from me whether I tried to free myself or not at this point. I got the fact that the aliens were far more strong then me. I saw my mother one last time her eyes red from sorrow and she fell wearily into the waters. Was she alive? I wailed for her but she wouldn't come to the surface. My father watched me for a split second but left from the scene. My parents were gone but the rest stayed to watch me leave and I saw sadness in their eyes. The net still lay on top of me making me sleepy as it weighed down on me. Everything was so uncomfortable as pain shot through my pectoral flippers and melon. It was all so deadly. I was soon transported to a truck by the aliens. They loaded me onto it but it didn't make me feel any better now that I wasn't dangling in the air. I didn't even get a good view of the ocean before we left. I shook my body around but the aliens held me steadily as they sat on the edge of the trunk. Where were they taking me? The stretcher itched my sides and I felt awfully horrible in such low conditions. I sputtered up water as I soon got dizzy and felt ill. About half an hour later the aliens pulled me over by the side of the road. They poured water on me and rubbed my back trying too sooth me but it just made things worse. I thrashed around uneasily and weaved my fluke around in the air nervously. "Whoa there!" Sounded a distant voice from behind me. "Settle down!" Shouted another. They rubbed me down with buckets of water and sponges quickly before I freaked more. I caught moving glimpses from the corner of my eye scaring me like crazy. There were shadows all around that made me feel shy and it made me want to swim away. We kept driving up ahead on a dark street that was leading us someplace I was unaware of. Every thirty minutes we would stop and pull over, then I would spass out and we would start moving again. We arrived to an air port quite a while later. There was a large thing-it looked like something used in the sky with huge propellers. I would often hear them overhead in daylight at my old place. I got scared and whined. They tried to settle me down but I wouldn't. This was far too dangerous. I was dangling in the air now and felt a gravity force that gave me scary thoughts. I thrashed endlessly not stopping but it didn't do much. Besides, I was too little and I was covered in a heavy net. I saw an entrance to the huge air thingy that I used to hear and watch all the time in the open skies. Was I going in one? I realized I was and felt unsure. Two aliens rubbed my dorsal fin and I tried to move. I got uncovered from the net and instead, got covered with something that felt like cold goo. "Shhhhh it's ok-see? This isn't that bad." Sounded someone. I shook myself and they rubbed the edges of my flippers. I felt comforted somehow but not completely relaxed. The large engine started and I felt the plane lift off the ground. I remained silent and frightened.
