Krist smiled at the mirror, his eyes reflecting the bright sun that was entering his wooden room through his window. The weather was superb, and he could hear the loud crashing of the waves nearby. The faint ocean smell greeted his nose as he felt the wind gushed his skin.

A perfect day to get married.

Seven months ago, his long time boyfriend Singto finally popped the question and proposed to him. They had been living together for almost three years now, after Singto graduated and secured a job. It was all perfect. Both of them were working but the older guy has always looked out for Krist. He drives him to his work every morning and picks him up every night. He never forgets their anniversary and he always has the best presents for Krist on his birthday.

In short, Singto was the ideal guy any person could ask for.

One night, during Krist's birthday, Singto gave him the best gift-- the invitation of a lifetime. Singto went down on his knees and asked Krist the question everyone was anticipating for.

"Will you do the honor of being my husband, Krist?"

Krist found bravery in Singto. He proposed around everyone they loved. Singto has always said that he wanted everyone to witness how much he loves him.

"Yes, yes, yes! Oh my God, yes!"

They've been together for almost seven years but the past seven months after their engagement was the best times of Krist's life. They spent their time either planning for the marriage or just spending time together. Krist's adoration for Singto grew even more. He thought his feelings couldn't go any deeper anymore but he was wrong.

Singto has showed him things he had never seen before. Krist has always been outgoing but when Singto welcomed him to his world, he saw a different point of view about life. The younger guy was thrifty as fuck, hardworking and was thirsty for achievements. Krist adored him for being outspoken and being himself. He found a part of himself through Singto.

"Krist, honey, may I come in?"

His mother, despite the permission, was already peaking through his door. They rented a beautiful wooden hut room by the sea that overlooked the ocean. Singto was preparing on the other hut as well.

"Yes, mom," He chuckled.

"Oh my darling," She said as she began to sob slightly when he saw her son.

Krist wasnt wearing the traditional black and white tuxedo for the wedding. Hell, they won't be geting married on the church. It was a beach wedding and Krist matched the theme. He was wearing a loose pastel brown seersucker pants and his button down shirt was untucked. A fresh flower was pinned on his chest and his hair was not even done. He chose to let it flow naturally as his hair whipped through the fresh, ocean breeze.

"How do I look?" He asked as he face Shelly, his mother.

Shelly cupped his son's face as she sniffed. "You look exactly like your father, Krist."

Krist's father died when he was in college. Singto was with him through those dark days. He was close to his father. He never really talked with his mother before but after the death of his father, he became closer to his mom. He figured that it's only the two of them together now.

"I do?" He asked in wonder although he have heard her say it a thousand times before.

"Yes, my love," She nodded. "Wow, you're getting married today."

"I know," He gushed like a teenage girl on a romantic comedy movie. "I've been waiting for this day, mom. I wanna look my best when I marry the man I love the most."
