The beach party was a lot more crowded than I first expected. Cadaqués was a really little coastal town, and certainly it didn't have so many inhabitants. However, due to it was summer, there were lots of people who had second residences and thus, spent their vacations here. Just like my friends and I.

"God, there are so many people," Stella said by my side, looking everywhere.

"To bad, there will be less alcohol for me," Hallie said upset.

Stella and I exchanged a glance and busted into laughter.

"You haven't changed at all, Hallie" I said still chuckling, shaking my head to the sides. She provided me with a surprised look and placed her hand to her chest, mocking at me.

"Really? I swear to god I thought I did"she said, looking at the ground, faking disappointment "fuck," she added. Right after she looked back at us and we all laughed once again.

Everyone was scattered around the beach, some surfing under the moonlight, others dancing to the beat of the music and a minor group seated around a bonfire singing to the drums of a guitar. Funny thing, everyone had a red cup in their hands, either filled with mojitos, Coca-Cola or whatever alcoholic drink they had managed to buy, since everyone here was under age.

The music was blasting from two big speakers, playing Jason Mraz songs and pop hits. People were dancing to the beat of the music, with damp hair and without T-shirts, only wearing the swimwear. They were all singing to the tip of their lungs, and as much as I'd like to say they all created a beautiful singing band, they weren't. Everyone invented the lyrics, literally no-one knew the words until the chorus arrived, by that point even the drunken people sang along, often with a really untuned voice.

We headed towards the alcohol barrels, placed next to the beach shower. There were three of them, each one with a white label that said what type of drink filled it. I opted for the barrel tagged with the bear word. Once we all three had our drinks we headed towards our friends spot.

"Hey girls" Noah said from the spot he was sitting. He automatically stood up and embraced each one of us into a hug.

"Noah! I've missed you" I said between his arms and placed a kiss on his cheek. I had known him for so long. He also lived in Barcelona and came here for summer break; all of my friends did. We all attended the same high school, this year however, I was going to take my senior year in another school.

I finally released from his grip and walked towards Blake to greet him, but he was already making out with Stella. I hope tonight, when they both walk me home they aren't this affectionate to each other. Fuck me.

I turned around to talk to Stella and Noah, but of course they were hugging and kissing too.

"Oh, C'mon guys," I groaned. They all stopped with their make out sessions and looked at me with sheepish smiles.

"Hello Nessa" Blake said walking towards my direction and hugging me afterwards.

"Hi," I shortly replied. He chuckled and hugged me harder.

"I'm sorry! We won't make out anymore tonight!" Blake said. I looked directly in his eyes and smiled.

"Okay!" I said with hopeful eyes. We all laughed, knowing that of course they would.

"C'mon, now let's party!" Hallie said, placing her arms on my shoulder and grabbing Stella's hand, having the boys following behind.

We went to the improvised dance floor and danced to Post Malone songs. Everyone was sweating and it smelled a little bad. From time to time people rushed the alcohol from their red cups to the sand, sometimes landing on my head. I continued drinking and singing with the group and after a few more songs we all were drunk.
