That's my Best friend

My phone rings the moment the stars start falling.

"Shawn?"

"Mom can we please talk later? I'm doing someting really important right now." I say as Hailey makes exclamations of admirations.

"If you're doing something important we'll talk at home. I'm sorry for interrupting you."

"It's okay mom."

She hangs up and I continue looking bewitched the stars too. Camila was right when she said I should come.

"What did she tell you?" asks Hailey stroking my hand.

"She probably wanted to remind me to wear a jacket or something." I say laughing.

She laughs too and we go back to watching the stars.

In the meantime, there's a partty going on in the beach. Two big  speackers have been put and "cold water" is heard by Justin Bieber.

We are having so much fun I dont realise the time has passed, already 2 in the morning.

When I get my phone out to call my mom, I see she has tried to call me ten times. Was she worried that much?

"Hailey I've got to go. My mom is probably going crazy."

She poutes but gives me a kiss ang hugs me.

"You know best. I'm going to find my friends - they're here somewhere drinking." she laughs.

I gather my thins and get a taxi home.

"Mom?" I say entering my home.

It seems quiet and locked for times befpre I opened the door.

I call her but she doesn't answer.

What if something happened to her? What if she wanted to tell me that she wasn't feeling well and I simply told her I'm doing something more important?

The time passes as I call again and again but no one picks up.

Suddenly the phone rings and I stand up, startled.

I pick up imidiately and without talking I simply wait for explainations.

"Karen? I'm sorry for being late but there was traffick. How's the girl? I'm coming as fast as I can." says the voice. 

"Aunt Margaret? It's Shawn. What's going on?"

"Aaah Shawn. Where's your mother? Did she already go to the hospital?"

"The hospital? Why what happened? Aunt Margaret it's three in the morning, why is my mother not  at home?"

"Didn't she call you? A close friend of yours needed to take his daughter to the hospital and your mom was worried very much and she told me I shold go there right now. So I took the car and I'm on my way."

I let out a relieved breath. My mom is alright.

That was a scare!

"Okay aunt Margaret, thank you for relieving me."

Aren't you going to the hospital?"

"The hospital? My mom will call me if she needs me but first cal her on her phone and tell her I'm back so she doesn't worry.

"Alright. Your mother did tell me not to worry you too much but as I understand you are fine."

"Is it that serious? Who's the family friend?"

"Mr Cabello. Somethin happened to his daughter if I understand correctly right before she went out and..."

My breath stops. Camila. My Camila, something happened to her.

And I just hung up the phone to have fun.

"What hospital?" I say in one breath.
