Once in a Summer (MewGulf)

Chapter Three

Mew looks so honestly tired but still manage to give Gulf a smile. On the other hand, Gulf can't look at him.

"Where have you been?" He said mumbling.

Mew sighs, "I have to do something".

Of course, Gulf didn't bought it but he just nods.

"I'm sorry", Mew added.

" 'Ts fine" Gulf doesn't know what to say, he's still mad yet he can't put out words to express his feelings.

Then out of a sudden Mew wrapped his arms around Gulf's shoulder, slightly leaning into him.

"Since it'll be my last day to roam around, let's go out and explore the town" Mew smiled

"Are you trying to make up with me?" Gulf asked almost like a whisper but Mew still heard it.

Mew chuckled.

"Kind of. It'll be my last day, I have to spend this time wisely"

It's easy to say that Gulf is indeed easy to please.

"Okay, let's go in the morning"

"I'll pick you up"

The following hours roams around on talking about their day. Gulf keeps on talking and nagging Mew on how he spend it alone and feeling disheartened. He said how he felt after Mew leaving him without any words or what.

Of course, Mew just laughs it off but says sorry otherwise.

Sure, Gulf was pretty alone but Mew know his situation got worsen. Mew decided not to tell anything about it except lie to Gulf.

"The office called me, I have to meet someone around the area" Mew said as he tried to explain why he was gone.

Again, Gulf didn't bought it. It's off.

As the sun completely sets down, they're still at the top of the rock in the shore, just enjoying the atmosphere the night gave them.

"If it'll be your last day today, who would you want to be with?"

And then there goes Mew again, with his out of the blue questions.

Gulf is currently leaning in Mew's shoulder as Mew's arm is still wrapped around him. So, he tilts his head a little to look at Mew.

"Special person in my life. Probably my family", he answered.

"Exclude the family, answer specifically"

"Well then, a special person it is"

"Do you have anyone?" Mew asked, now he turned around to meet Gulf's eyes.

They're so close.

"If I do have, do you think I'll be making out with you for the past days?"

Mew couldn't hold his laugh back.

"Of course, good point!"

Gulf just rolled his eyes and leans back in Mew.

"Say," Mew started again, "are you still confused?"

Gulf looks down, fidgeting his fingers, unsure of what to say but still ended up with "No, it's quite fast but I have to see something else to convince me completely" then there was silence.

Mew didn't utter a word, just lookingMew leans closer to Gulf then whispered, "you've seen a my man part, what's more you need?"

Of course it was a joke but Gulf suddenly felt burning all over his body. He pushed Mew away and hits him like a girl.
