Prologue

    Those were the last words my mom said to me before she died. Before my dad committed suicide. Before my brother went missing. Before my life was changed forever.

    It all happened so fast. It was like reading a book; a chain reaction.

    I was watching YouTube when I got the phone call. The phone call that changed everything.

    I was coming home from school when I saw the note. The note that changed everything.

    I was calling him down for dinner when I realized. The realization that changed everything.
