Alex stepped out of the cab, she looked ahead at the apartment building in front of her.  Back to beacon hills, after 3 months she was back. Not knowing if it would be too soon, but she did it anyway.

She walked into the building, and straight to the elevator.

Everything felt different now. Coming back was different now.

France could only help Alex so much. Grieving for her sister was the hardest thing she'd ever do and being in France with no one around her made her feel alone. She missed her friends, her school.. she missed stiles

She wondered if he missed her, she wondered if he moved on. She couldn't bare the thought for longer then a second, but if he did, baring a thought would be the least of her worries.

Alex walked through the door of the apartment. She closed it behind her and looked around, it felt weird being there alone for her.

"I'm home ally" she spoke to herself

Chris argent wasn't aware of the fact that his daughter had left the country of France without him. Alex had just written a note and hoped he'd understand. She needed to come back and she wasn't sure if ever could, this town had taken just as much from him as it did from her.

She sighed "where are the keys?"

She walked into her room for the first time in months. Nothing being changed or moved. She checked her bed side table and her drawers, the keys being nowhere there.

She walked out of her room and stopped when she was met by Allison's. "It's just a room" she shook her head.

Letting out a breath she walked in

"Allison do you have the keys?" Alex asked

"Yeah they are on my nightstand" Allison pointed

Alex walked over and grabbed them, turning back to face her sister "Remind me again why you always have them?" She asked

She smiled "because you always lose them"

Her mouth dropped open with shock "Wha- that's totally...." she huffed "well it's true" she shrugged

Allison shook her head and laughed at her sister

"What were you thinking" Alex asked. As she watched her sister slowly bleed out

"I-I...love...you" she choked out

"It's my fault" Alex cried

Zoning back in, Alex felt her chest become tight. She took in a few deep breaths "you are okay" she whispered to herself "You are.... you are okay"

She looked over to the side and spotted the keys on Allison drawers. She grabbed them and left

Alex stood outside Lydia Martin's house, she was excited to see her best friend again. Alex would admit she felt bad for leaving the banshee when she did.

Alex was just happy to see Lydia once again, to hug her and to talk to her about everything and nothing. To feel like more then a girl taken over by grief. To be normal for a day.

She hit her fist against the door and waited happily, a couple seconds had passed and the door opened. Alex smile fading slightly as the wrong Martin stood at the door

"Hi" she smiled "Lydia?" She asked

"She and the rest went on a camping trip" Natalie  told her

Alex brows arched downed "Camping?" She questioned

She nodded "Yeah her stiles  Scott Lydia Kira malia-.."

She interrupted "Malia?" She asked, sounding shocked. She had forgotten momentarily about malia. "I missed a lot" she sighed

Natalie stood awkwardly at the door, she remembered her daughter mentioning why Alex moved, but Natalie herself was never expecting her back so soon "Hey uh... how are you?" She asked

"I'm em.. I'm okay"  Alex nodded "I better go, sorry for bothering you"

"Well it's was nice to see you. How long you back?" She  asked

"Permanently" she replied

Letting Natalie get back to her life, she headed back for her car. Rolling her eyes at her best friends excuses for going somewhere they shouldn't be.

She sat in her car "camping" she scoffed

It was time to pay a certain vet a visit

The bell above the entrance door rang as Alex walked in.

Alan deaton walked out expecting to see a customer, to his surprise when he saw the healing girl stood at the door with a polite smile on her face.

He gave a soft grin "How May I help?"

She crossed her arms over her chest "camping? Lydia hates camping." She pointed out to him

"When did you get back?" He asked. Avoiding Alex's previous statement.

"About a half hour ago" she replied.

Her arms dropped to her side with a huff "Deaton we both know they aren't gone camping so could please tell me where they are gone?" She asked

"They are gone to Mexico."

Her eyes widened "Mexico!" She raised her voice

He nodded "Derek is missing and Scott found bullets in his loft with the Calaveras logo. That's in Mexico, they are gone looking" he explained

Alex sighed "looks like I'm going to Mexico"

She hadn't planned for such an adventurous day on her first day back. She had more planned to spent time with Lydia, to be with someone other then her dad or Isaac lahey.

His brows narrowed "How will you know where they are?" He asked

"Because I know that logo, more specifically my dad knows that logo" she responded "If I find her I'll find them"

"be careful" he cautioned

Be safe

Always am

The words rang in her head like music. She cursed to herself for letting such an innocent phrase bring her back to the memory of her sister.

She held her head up "always am" she nodded.

With that she left the clinic. It was time to go on a road trip.
