Everything was ready, we all were ready to leave to the south.
I turn to look outside when a loud noise fills the house from outside. We all turn to look at each other confused before we get out to the street.
Daechwita could be heard from the min street... the market.
I ran to the street without thinking twice. Many steps followed me.
We all ran quietly. I adjusted my rice hat so it was covering half of my face as always.
Min-Ki was being transported to the street. Many men were holding his transport on their shoulders as he sat comfortably on the top, with a smirk on his face.
He was looking at the crowd, as If looking for someone.
The men stopped, the music stopped, and everyone was quiet as well. All the townies were looking at the king with a neutral face. All of them were frozen on their spots to the point that a merchant was still holding the fish he sold to a client, and the client was holding it ready to take it but the fish remained in the middle of them.
This was something that had never happened before. Min-Ki has never shown himself like this; he always goes to the terrace at the palace to give his speeches or whatever.
My eyes widened when I saw his face. He was showing his scar.
He didn't hide it...
Everyone just as shocked as I am...
I'm sure they won't take long on connecting the dots.
What is he planning?
We all hide in an alley where I'm sure he won't be able to see us.
Min-Ki takes a moment to look at everyone coldly, showing his so-called 'dominance' over all of them.
I see everyone staring at the scar across his eye. Me, myself, and I can't stop seeing it.
I made that scar on him.
"I have seen a man whose face is the same as mine," Min-Ki suddenly said startling everyone.
His voice was so cold... like he has never experienced any emotions.
"He's an impostor." He narrows his eyes to everyone. "Whoever brings it to the palace, alive or dead, will get a huge reward."
That's the last thing he said before he went back to the palace with daechwita playing loudly. I watched him until he disappeared.
He went straight to the point... he hasn't changed one bit.
I'm glad, I still remember his weaknesses.
I can't help but smirk. I guess he doesn't know what I have under my sleeve.
I turn to aside to look at Jin. He's thinking the same thing as me.
I don't care that my head has a price now. I don't care that everyone thinks I'm an impostor.
I will find my way.
We all go back to the house where all our belongings are. We quickly take them with us before we leave the capital.
"So... where's the south?" Jinyoung asks confused.
"There." I point right in front of me.
"Let's go!" Jungkook said cheerfully.
We all started to walk to the south... to where Margaret told me to go. I'm not sure how much time we will take but we are walking as fast as we can. Seoyeon is keeping up with us without any problems even though she's carrying her things in a big bag.
