| Tunnels |

I walked in front of my little army with my friends by my side.

I stopped to look at the Royal Palace as soon as it came in my view.
All of us do the same...
A chill runs down my spine as memories flash in front of my eyes in flee seconds.

I wonder how mother is doing...

I take a deep breath. I turn to look at my people before we officially enter the capital's territory.

"Everyone listen up! We can't enter as a group as we are too many. Follow the plan!" I scream at the top of my lungs.

I receive many nods. After a second or two, all of us take different paths.

Some go back to where we came from to let some time go by before they arrive; others start to wander around while a little group goes with me directly to the tunnels.

Jin is walking by himself a couple of meters away from us. We all are acting as his servants.
A palanquin has been left out of the city for Jin by his real servants.

Jin gets in the palanquin and then some of us start to carry it.

This is the best way. Some might think this would be humiliating for a rebel but it is not as it is Jin... this is only a disguise.

We walk through the city without any problems. Many people bow or just continue in their business trying to not call a noble's attention.

I look around as we walk through the market. My heart races as I see the spot where my mother would be... I used to sit next to her all day until I had enough age to go by myself to other towns to sell her products.

At least this place hasn't changed.

Soon, we arrived at the palace. I keep my rice hat low as I'm easy to recognize. All eyes are on Jin; of course, a handsome noble attracts everyone's attention, not his servants.

Jin gets out of the palanquin once we are at the entrance of the palace. All of us get inside without any problem.

My heart hammers in my chest as I look around, careful of not getting caught.

It's been so long since I was here... I have forgotten most of the place.

We follow Jin to a hallway that seems forgotten. There are a couple of spider webs here and there along with poor lighting.

Even if we are about ten, we don't make much noise as we are careful.

Jin looks to both sides before he opens a door at the end of the corridor. He gets in first and we follow him still in the role of servants in case someone saw us.

The room is very dark and is full of dusk. There is not much decoration other than a dead plant, a painting, and a carpet almost covering the entire floor. This room has been forgotten by time.

Jin moves the carpet out of its place. My eyes widened as I notice a hatch at a side of the floor... not in the middle as people might think.

We pull up the hatch between five men as it is very heavy.

Once it's open, we look at it a couple of seconds.

There's not even a bit of lightning down there...

Everyone starts to go down. I place the carpet on its place, only leaving a space for me to get out. Once I'm at the other I put the carpet on top of the hatch and then I close it.

Tae starts to hit flints to each other to create fire. Jungkook holds a torch we brought as Tae works.

After a couple of seconds, we finally get some lighting. We all look around curiously.
