Taken by surprise

Lunch time

A few hours pass by as you look down at your watch and realize it's time for your break. You get out of your seat and go to the break room. You click buttons on the vending machine and sit down with your snack.

Gabe quickly walked into the break room and goes to the vending machine. He gets one of his favorite snacks, sun chips. He gives you a cute smile and then asks you. "Is this seat taken". He points to the chair right next to you.

You look at him and then at the table and politely say "no, it's all yours" he walks over and plops down on the chair. He gives you another smile, but this one was different, his smile made you feel bubbly inside, it made you feel happy.

You're thinking of what to say to him, that smile it just made you speechless. And those beautiful eyes bluer than the sky. And when he blushes whenever he talks to you it just makes you feel so happy.

He looks at you with dazzling eyes.   "Are you Ok? Your face is turning red, are you having an allergic reaction?" He says in a scared tone.

"No I'm just really shy around people I find cute." Wait a minute did I really say that. I was thinking it but I didn't wanna say it out loud. You look down in embarrassment.

He looks really shocked and then he starts blushing. He giggles in excitement. "Wait you really think that?" He says in bewilderment.

You look straight into his blue eyes and you mumble "yes". That's when somebody suddenly walks into the break room.

"How we Doobie Doo Doo doing y'all." Andy says in a silly southern accent. Gabe looks extremely angry.

"GO AWAY ANDY, JUST GO AWAY!" Gabe screams. Andy looks pretty confused at the situation and walks away back to the sales department.

It's weird you thought Gabe was a passive guy. And now he's yelling at his coworkers. He was so angry when he yelled too. Is this a new side of Gabe?

"Sorry about that y/n. I didn't mean to startle you." he looks genuinely sorry.

"Oh I forgive you." You looked down at your watch and realize that your break is over.

"Sorry Gabe I've got to go" You walked out of the break room and into the annex and sit at your desk.

You think to yourself. Why am I so embarrassing, like why did I say that out loud. But he didn't look angry or disgusted and he did say I was cute. And I find him cute, so maybe I could shoot my shot.

The clock strikes five and you get out of your seat and head for the door. You notice Gabe following you from behind. "Hi Gabe!" You say nervously.

Gabe catches up to you "oh hi y/n." He giggles when he says your name. Then
you talk for 10 minutes about your favorite movie. And then you get to the parking lot.

Should I kiss him? Should I ask him on a date? Do you think about all the outcome and that he could potential he reject you. But he said he liked you so I don't think that's much of an option. I think I should kiss him.

You and him walk over to your car and lock eyes. "Hey Gabe I've got to tell you something. It's a secret"

He leans down right next to you to hear the secret. "What's the secret?"

You turn your head and kiss him right on the lips. You both look stunned and he starts blushing harder than a tomato.

He kisses you back in the most passionate way possible. He wipes the lipstick off of his mouth.

"Well I guess I'll see you tomorrow." you turn around and open your car door.

He grabs your hand. He caresses  your chin while he gives you little kisses. "So do you wanna go out sometimes?" 

"yes." You say really quickly. You take out a piece of paper from your pocket and give it to him.

He looks at it and smiles.

You get in your car and drive away with a huge smile on your face.
