Chapter 4
With absence of thunder, the sky seemed to be brighter Itsuki was holding an empty jar when she met Fuutaru on the corridor surprisingly. He is now wearing his old clothes newly ironed and carrying a backpack. Itsuki glanced at him from bottom to top and said "Leaving just like that?"
"We just met, Itsuki. If there's any chance to tell me that I've seen you all before, okay I won't waste this opportunity" He said seriously "We met in Asahi high school. Our dad hired you to tutor us" She quickly replied "I had a feeling we didn't get along well that time" "We both did!" She made up " 'Coz I was top student too" That being said, she grabbed him.
They went to the garden and it was full of flowers and butterflies. There are few dragonflies and some small bright dots floating around. It was magical. He exclaimed "Wow~ I'll definitely go back here" Itsuki shook her head and wore her eye glasses as she said "remember what Ichika said when you asked what place is this?" fortunately he have sharp memory about first times. She insisted "these are spirit orbs or in another words, lost souls... this is the final destination Fuutaru" he felt his head was pumping and on the back of his mind was saying this was just a dream, "A-re we dead?" Fuutaru inquired and Itsuki looked down silent.
He stepped on the marble floor of the living room and asked "Are we dead?" "Yes we're dead" Nino cried clicking her heels "I can't find Miku!" the dark clouds covered the sky as it turned evening. Thunder roared. Ichika added anxiously "her bedroom is lock and I saw her key on the dining" Fuutaru put down his bag and started searching.
While the others are looking for Miku, Itsuki found a note on the refrigerator. Miku's font was visible Don't fret for I'll be back -Miku Nakano
She gets some burgers to eat while thinking deeply. Meanwhile, Nino walked with Fuutaru "Are you leaving?" "Yea you told me to leave right?" he answered bored "I meant you just leave my room, nerd" "If you're the smart between us, tell me what about the orbs in the garden" "Orbs?" she chuckled "those are just tiny fireflies"
Everyone came across the dining. Itsuki proclaimed "Miku left a message. She's fine" Fuutaru doubted so he grabbed the note and read it before he crumpled it. The wind gets stronger and the chimbells rung outside. They faced each other in awkward silence. He said "Nino explained something to me and now Itsuki you have to explain" Itsuki narrowed her eyes at her sister and opened her mouth for an answer but failed. She started to take some bowls and ladle.
Nino spoke "Since we know Miku's okay, just check me on my room" she got up and sniffed. Even the most clogged nose would smell the delicious aroma of tempura. Ichika was just watching them. Then Itsuki placed their early dinner on the table and tried "I'm s-s-sorry. Sorry for the lies. Can you forgive me now?" Fuutaru forked the prawn and tasted it. The extra aroma and the flavor opened a memory from his brain. He must've eaten it with the quintuplets before as he could almost hear the giggles on that minute. Felt like he was back in time in that moment where it was created.
Fuutaru faced at the 3 girls and he pursued "Ichika, even you hid something from me, I forgave you...Nino even after all the mean treat I understand and Itsuki... you lied but I accepted your apology" the sisters form smile on their faces. Triple trouble. Fuutaru whispered "What's next?" they all heard the doorbell.
