jeongyeon: do you have anything to do today?

nayeon: i just have a music show to attend then i'm all free, why?

jeongyeon: can i come? we don't have schedules today and besides we're near inkigayo.

nayeon: okay then. let's eat out?

jeongyeon: that would be great!

“Where do you think you're going?” Sana exclaimed.

Jeongyeon shrugged. “On a date with Nayeon.” She blushed.

Sana giggled. “Really? Take photos please? I wanna see how she looks like. She's so pretty like  living doll.”

“Okay, just don't tell Jihyo I went somewhere okay? I trust you in this, hamster.”

“Yes, Jeongyeonie! Have fun!”

Jeongyeon drove to Nayeon's pre-recording shoot and made sure she was disguised well. On her way out, Mina saw her and she just dodged her out of the way.

“Jeongyeon!”

“I'll be back! I'll just go the grocery!”

Mina was left puzzled. “But we just had grocery shopping yesterday? She's weird.”

Nayeon was at her dressing room as well as Chaeyoung and Tzuyu who were busy placing stickers on food and beverages that they'll hand out to the staff for taking care of Nayeon.

“I don't get why Jeongyeon is so eager to have lunch with me. As if she doesn't have someone to be with.” Nayeon exclaimed.

Tzuyu smiled. “Just let her be, unnie. She'll stop when she feels like you're not interested.”

“As if Nayeon-unnie isn't interested in Jeongyeon.” Chaeyoung muttered.

“Whatever. I'm just going to focus on my comeback.”

“15 minutes until pre-recording!”

Chaeyoung and Tzuyu left Nayeon's booth and started on cheering for her when she went on stage.

Flashing lights and glimmering stage pieces were hanging out of Inkigayo's stage, and Jeongyeon was just in time when Nayeon started pre-recording for her comeback.

Suddenly, Jeongyeon's phone vibrated and Mina was calling her.

“Hello?”

“Where are you, Jeongyeon?”

“Mina, please don't tell me Sana told you where I am.”

Mina sighed on the line. “Nayeon's pre-recording and a lunch date?”

“Mina!”

“I'm sorry. I just don't want you to get in trouble.”

Nayeon's pre-recording was done. She immediately went downstairs and waved at Jeongyeon.

“Hey—”

“I'm sorry, Nayeon. Can we have our lunch date tomorrow?”

Nayeon gave her a puzzled look. “Uhh, o-okay. I'm not busy tomorrow so we can. Emergency?”

Jeongyeon nodded.

“Just message me, okay? Take care!”

Jeongyeon ran out of the building and immediately drove back home.

Nayeon started to feel her heart sank.

But, why is she sad?

Her heart started beating abruptly fast and was left speechless.

“Why are you doing this to me, Jeongyeon?”
