Hi! This is Aphrodite :) Santa gave me a gift this Christmas! 8FREAKINGPIMPLES. #ugh.

I'm really unsure whether to open the door or not. The mad knock was unstoppable for a good few minutes.
It must be a prank.
Or a big, fat hallucination.
Or a crazy ghost somehow wants to scare me. Oh hell no, no one can't.
I respond a loud knock. The multiple knocks outside stop.
"Hey, whoever are you...Will you just stop!" I wait for the snickering from bored little parcel of brats who wants to play prank at random doors. But there was none.
"Because, I'm not opening this door! Ever!" I scream. I start to walk away and will probably just go up my room and blast music.
"Open! Let me in!" I hear a guy's voice outside.
I scoff. He has the guts to demand me to let him in my own house? I let out a laugh. No he can't.
I continue to walk away and take the steps to the room.
"Please!" He says it as if it's the first time he use the word. Oh, poor guy no one will give him a cookie for that.
One of the ways to survive in the house when your'e alone: Don't let any stranger get in your house.
I reach my room and practically jump at my bed.
I grab the opened bag of chips and continue to eat. I reach out for my phone and recieve a group message from my bestfriend, Daisy.
No one really knows what may someone can do to your life.
TRUEDAT. Going to the beach with fam rn!!! so excited!

#DyingMyHairPurple!I smile. No matter how a lot of my friends complain how constantly she group messages, I love her for that. Daisy and I have been bestfriends since kinder, and the thing that always amazes me about her is that, her qoutes seem to fit in my situation.
Who must it be?What if it's someone in need of help? When did I care? Now. I care now. The funny thing is, it's my first time.
I back track my steps and become face to face with the door again. I take a breath and open it.
A tall guy, drenched in his own sweat and probably came from running a hundred miles with a wrong casual outfit made me decide to close the door back again.
I gulp. What does he want?
"Wait! Wait!" He rap the door many times.
"Who the hell are you?!" I shout.
"Open the door. It's hard to talk with a door in the middle." He commands.
"How could I trust a stranger?"
It was silent.
"I...I don't know."
"Then it's like giving me an answer to not let you in," I say.
"Listen, I'm not a killer or a theif to steal anything or a kidnapper or a..." He rambles but unfortunately ran out of words. "Just...let me in... I need... I need your help."
I slowly open the door, like any normal being will.
"Um...thanks." He whisper the last word.
"Oh god, you really don't like the word expressing gratitude and the other that says a request right?" I raise a brow.
"Will you let me in?"
I ponder this on for a bit. This guy looks like any other popular guy in my school. But I never saw him to the school I go. He never looks like a theif, but who knows, looks could decieve...
"Okay, I don't really know you at all but you look like you really need help and being the good samaritan I am that helps pathetic strangers like you-"
"I'm not pathe-"
He stops shortly.
"Well poor stranger," I motion his physical state. "you are pathetic."
His jaw instantly lock. Blue eyes glaring at me, his face instantly reddens and he looks like as if he will scream at my face instantly. I wait. But he still doesn't.
I slowly clap my hands.
"Well done, you just control your...anger," I nod my head slowly.
"You are annoying,"
"Okay," I close the door again.
"What the actual fuck!" He shout.
I bit my lip to stop it from smiling. Wow, I never thought messing up with a person who just needs help right at my door in the middle of the summer is quite fun.
"Listen there, good samaritan as you call yourself, of course," He whispers the last words. "I really need your help. I'm chase by a lot of men and I will really lose my shit right here if they caught me back for I had tried several attempts to get the fuck out there and I swear..."
My smile fades. Is he...a criminal? But he told me he wasn't. And I believe. So probably, he did something against the law with those guys who kept chasing him. And now I'm letting a guy with a probably messed-up mind enough to have mens chasing him in my house. No. It's like taking a poisionous apple disguised with it's undeniable charm to have a person eat it. And what am I, another dumb version of Snow White?
"You came at the wrong person, dude." I say.
It's silent.
"What?"
"Yes."
"What!? Why?!"
"I can't help you. You find another house to knock on and probably you'll find someone as helpful as you wish them to be."
"What? Did you even realize I knock for help at all of your neighbors but there was no one inside? I think this is the only house with a person in this place,"
He's right. Our neighbor, the Thompsons, the closest to us, had gone out to a beach with my family to spend summer vacation. And maybe others had gone too.
"So please, let me in, I'll explain everything, and I promise I'll never hurt you,"
He promised. So I slowly open the door.
A wide grin spread across his face as he let his other foot step inside.
"Don't be happy yet," I motion him to stop.
I lift a finger at him and move it in a circular motion. He looks confuse at first but quickly get it and turn around slowly. I just want to make sure he's unarmed.
I notice he has few bruises on his arm. He looks really sweaty and I think he should really change. I will later go check Dad's clothes, maybe some will fit on him. Unless Dad brought all his clothes for the vacation.
"Okay, you can go inside." I look at him and he has the widest smile ever.
