When I opened my eyes I found myself in the hospital, Ally leaning over my body, her hands grasping tightly on my left hand. She was asleep on the side of my bed. I watched how even in her sleep she cried. With my free hand I wiped away her tears. I looked around to see two sleeping bangs on the floor with to heads. I smiled a small smile. A nurse saw me awake through the window. She rushed in and sighed.

"You got yourself some loving family, Miss Robins."

"I know. An awesome sister, a beautiful niece, and a handsome and charming nephew. I couldn't be happy without them." The nurse shook Ally until she awoke from her nightmare.

Ally stared at me wide eyed. She looked over my bed at the kids before getting up. She checked if they really asleep before coming back over. She grinned.

"I'm so glad you're awake. You were knocked out for a week. You got flowers from some blonde guy, who kept hitting on me." She pouted her lips, tilted her head, and stared into nothing. Her thinking look. "I found that quite odd. Don't you?"

"Nope. He and I are what you call fuck-buddies. Nothing more. So it's expected." My heart ached a bit.

"Oh? He had a friend with him who just looked through the window, refused to come in. He-"

"Dark brown hair, green eyes?"

"Yeah," she nodded.

"That the photographer. The man that came in is his assistant. Well, good thing he's keeping his distance."

We both had forgotten about the nurse who lifted me to the sitting position to change my bandages. I knew she was ease-dropping by the silence. She, too, was curious about the men visiting my room, I guessed.

"And Johny?"

Ally looked at the kids while she spoke. "He pled insanity to the cops. Which is true, he does take his meds. I make sure he does when he's over. I mix it in with his food. He didn't take it for days though. When he got drunk, made it even worse. Supposedly he was reenacting a murder movie, him as the thug, you the wife, me the hooker. I don't know why it was like that though. His gun looked like a BB gun. I thought those didn't go through the skin. But what you had in you're shoulder was an actual gun. So confused..."

I also pondered along with her. I was looking at anything exactly when I noticed a big, white fluffy teddy bear by the door. There was what looked like a white sheet of paper by it. I flicked Ally's arm and pointed at the bear. Cluesless, she raised her eyebrow at me.

"Look at the bear. There's a note."

She mouthed Ohhh.. I shook my head. The nurse was finished with the repairs and checked the monitor. The clock right above it read 12:12 A.M. She grinned.

"Merry Christmas everyone." She nodded  with a cheerful smile and walked. I glared at Ally.

"You said a week, not 3 months."

"Oh.. Did I?" She had grabbed the note by then and was reading it. "By the way, you have received a love letter. Who's Mitchell?"

I rolled my eyes." Yes, you said a WEEK. And his real name is Jordon. He's the blonde one. I called him Mitchell when we first met. He looked like a Mitchell to me. And what does it say?..."

She gazed at me over the sheet of paper. "It's pretty bad for a love letter though. But let me read it to you."

"Why? So you can act like a cheesey idiot? Nah, I'll pass. Gimme."

She shook her head and smiled like a playful teenager. She wagged her eyebrows and cleared her throat.

"Oh, how you eyes glisten in my pictures.

How you smile that flirty smile of your's when the topic of quickies come up. How you keep your head held high during a cat fight with the other models. How your moans turn me on."

I rolled my eyes. "It doesn't say that. I've read one of his love letters before. He doesn't talk of sex in them. He's actually really romantic in them, genius."

She shrugged. "OK, so those aren't the words. Everything that doesn't mention anything about sex was in the letter though. Shall I start over?" I nodded, laid back, closed m eyes, listened. "Oh, Melli. I miss you dearly. I miss your company. Your laughter, your dorkiness. The models also miss you. Each day they ask for your return. They also tease me. They pose and after a few clicks of the camera they begin trying to give me tips on making your awaking something romantic. Said to start off with roses, white roses. Then a plush toy, a big one you can cuddle and wrap your arms around. They said to write you one of my, and I quote, romantic, panty dropping letters. They said if I were to follow this check list, you'd have letters, flowers, and teddy bears to wake up to. Even if it means I missed you waking up. I'm sorry if I'm not there when you're being brought back to the Earth. I apologize. Please don't hate me. I couldn't stand the times you'd be mad at me. I felt so useless. I felt pathetic. If I were to loose you, I'd surely be one pathetic guy. A girl sweet as you stays even when you are a victim. That's what I really loved about you. You determination to stay with me, well, anyone who needed someone for the matter. I have told you that you're my dream girl, yes? If not, now you know you are. I love you. At least I hope what I'm feeling is love and not lust. You make me feel amazing, in bed and out.  Well, I was told to not make the letter too long, that this was the right length. So, 'til later, Meli! Your lover, Mitchell."

Ally had her hand on her chest when I woke up. She grinned as well. "Oh, Melisa, he's a keeper. Please tell me you're gonna marry him."

I shrugged. "I'm 21, not into the whole marriage world just yet."

"Fine. If you end up waiting too long, don't get mad because you find out I'm marrying him." Another nurse came in.

We looked at them. Ally blushed a light pink and looked around the room. The nurse was Ally's height, around 5'3. She had long jet black hair, at least up to her waist, in a fish-tale braid. She was curvy, you could tell even in her nurse clothes. She had light brown eyes, a light tan. She also blushed.

"Hello?" I glanced between them, connected the dots.

The nurse looked at me. "Hello, Miss. I see you finally awoke. Nice to see you're up." She plastured on a smile.

She stared at Ally. "Uhm, Melisa I'm gonna go to the restroom ok?"

"Ok. Uhm, nurse can I get some food for the kids and myself?" I forced a smile myself.

She nodded. Both left the room, going th same way. I shook my head. Ally has gone back to her lesbian self again. She hasn't been into girls since Senior High. Well, at least that's what I thought.
