"shit shit fuck" i said to myself i was getting out of my car, getting ready to walk into elysa's house. i opened the door very quickly then shut it and locked it.
"woah kaylee, you good babe? no hello?" elysa said to me with wide eyes.
"hi. i missed you and yeah, i'm fine. i guess i'm just tired" i said but i knew i wasn't tired. i mean i just watched her brother murder a man. of course, i couldn't let her know. what if she knows already? shit, i'm thinking too much i wonder if she has noticed.
"oh i can make popcorn and we can watch a movie then nap!" elysa sounds so happy how can i say no??
"yes! i'll go set up a fort!!" i said running up the stairs to her living room. she follows but instead makes a turn to the kitchen. my phone suddenly makes a LOUD vibrating noise so i go to check it.

"kaylee! weren't you supposed to be making the fort? who are you texting?" lys almost gave me a heart attack. i'm not kidding either...
"uh a co-worker, he needs me to work on uh- sunday" i quickly made up the lie.
"well that sucks. anyway, let's get this fort started!" we heard a knock on the door. i almost shat myself. "oh? i didn't know people were coming did you invite anyone?" she asked.
"uh no but you should answer it" i said. she walked to the door and opens it and i almost started crying right then and there. HE walks in. the MAN THAT I WATCHED MURDER SOMEONE.
"ROYCE! oh my god i missed you so much! who are all these people?" she says happy then confused.
"oh, hey little sister. these are my friends. lathan and sauve" i had never seen the 'sauve' guy.
"you little miss thang can call me mosey" lathan says as he winks.
"so who is your friend lys?" royce says as he smirks at me.

"that's kaylee" she says with a huge smile. i just stand and stare with wide eyes. i'm scared for my life. "kaylee, this is royce my big brother" yep, i know that, i met him not even 30 minutes before this. "you guys can go upstairs to the living room, kaylee will show you. right kaylee?"
"uh- y-yeah" i said about to scream with fear. "f-follow me guys" they all followed me to the couch and we all sat down i sat down next to lys. royce also sat next to elysa. then lathan and sauve sat on a different couch.
"someone's a little shy.." sauve said laughing
"j-just come on g-guys" i said still stuttering.
"god damn, she must really want you royce" lathan said laughing even harder than sauve.
"uh no" i said and flashed a quick smile.
"playing hard to get i see" royce laughed.
"no" i said quickly. elysa looked confused.
"well i'm going to go get water for everyone!" elysa said. my eyes went so wide. she gets up and walks to the kitchen.
"i'm going to use the bathroom" i stated to the boys.
"well shit mamas can i come with?" sauve said. royce gave him a death-stare. "kidding, maybe"
i started fast walking to the bathroom.
royce's pov
"shiiiiiit go getcha girl bro" lathan said.
"yaknow she ain't my girl"
"well you seem to like her bro. why else would you follow her?" sauve said.
"maybe because she watched me murder a guy AND she ran"
"wait what the fuck she watched you murder him and she ain't called the police?" sauve said in disbelief.
"yeah well i'm going to talk to her quick"
kaylee's pov
the door got slowely got pushed open. this is ALL a dream. i thought to myself. then the door shuts. i turned around just to get pushed against the wall.
"listen lil ma. you ain't gonna say ANYTHING to elysa. you ain't saying anything to the police. don't even tell anyone. otherwise you're gonna be in deep shit luh baby" royce said sternly.
"o-okay. i wasn't g-going to" i said looking into his eyes. he's scary.
"good girl. okay now go before lys gets suspicious. i walked out of the bathroom fixing my glasses and hair. they all turn and look at me.
"what the fuck are you guys looking at" i say rudely to the boys staring at me.
"oh nothing" lathan laughs. lys is on the couch staring at me. probably wondering where her murderer brother is.
"were you with royce in the bathroom?" she says and looks sad.
"uh yeah, we were discussing what we are gonna get you from your uh- birthday!" i say smiling.
"shit you a good liar" i hear someone whisper in my ear.
"were you guys really?" she said.
"yes lil sissy. what else" royce says while laughing.
