True colors

Chapter 3

My mum pressed charges on my Dad for cheating, while i was pardoned for what i did. He was given a 2 year sentence, " I was always there Amanda! how could you!" my dad screamed. I knew i had to do the right thing, i have to keep my mum happy. My phone chimed, i totally forgot i got a message from Danny he needed to talk. i decided to call him to see what's up.

"Hey" I said smiling like i hadn't shot my dad.  " It's over" Danny said, that was the most serious he sounded since we dated. 

I couldn't take it i went straight upstairs to cry myself to sleep.

CHLOE'S P.O.V

I woke up feeling dizzy and my whole body was aching. I screamed, thankfully Sammy was awake. " What is it?" Steph said hurriedly. "I don't feel so good " I cried. " You don't look good either, i'll make an appointment for you" Steph said.  I couldn't stand up and i really had to since i puked all over myself.

At the hospital, I was really scared, i really hoped my condition wasn't serious.   " I'm really sorry Chloe O'Bryan but we found a stage four kind of cancer, you only have the rest of June to live, but these tablets will help with the pain."

DANNY'S P.O.V

I feel used! Was she just using me to get a top job? I was so confused. I asked Ernie if he was in for  paintball.

AMANDA'S P.O.V

What a terrible headache! " hey its Danny, come over for a while boo😍" it was from an unknown number. " BRB" i replied. I told Lucy to cover for me at work and i drove to Danny's.

"hey Danny am here" I said taking of my coat. " Over in the bedroom" I heard a voice. I was so excited i didn't think twice and went straight to he's room. "I thought you broke up with me?" i whispered in he's dark dark room, i couldn't even see him. " Hello Ms. Johnson, am here to make a deal with you," Mr. Brown said stepping into the light " you make love to me and we'll give you all the money you need to bail out your dad, ow about it?"  "I would never" i said walking away. Just then Danny walked in," Amanda what are you doing here?" he asked. " Danny, your dad is into me...please believe me!" I yelled. " And to think i was going to forgive you, you should leave before my Dad actually gets back from work. "Please I'm telling you the tru-" The door slammed in my face.

CHLOE'S P.O.V

"I have cancer" I told my dad. The first thing i wanted to do before i die was to make sure our family has no more secrets, "I'm living with Sammy and Steph your invited to my funeral."

DANNY'S P.O.V

I really wish Mum was here. i decided not to get involved with anymore girls.

AMANDA'S P.O.V

I got fired from my job. At least Mum agreed to take me to the Spa. 

"Amanda i was thinking since your jobless you would like to join my business?" my mum said. " What do you even do?" i asked. " You'll see real soon but first to get revenge," my mum  said , " But always remember to keep your mouth shut!"

CHLOE'S P.O.V

I told everything to Amanda well except the cancer part, "Stephanie Brown?" Amanda asked surprisingly interested. "Yah, and my sister has a baby" I said. " Um..i got to go..."Amanda lied.

DANNY'S P.O.V 

"What?" I gasped " yah she lives with a  friend of mine" Amanda said happily. "You just because she's called Brown doesn't mean she's my mum or anything" I lied, "bye " i hung up and headed straight to my dad's room. I told him exactly what Amanda said . "pack up we leave Monday" my dad said.

AMANDA'S P.O.V

"Mum i hope this doesn't go wrong, i don't even care if he fired me" i said hoping she would come down. "Hun don't worry this ain't my first rodeo" she said. honestly, i was surprised when she said that. " I'm going shopping don't wait up" she said grabbing her coat.

CHLOE'S P.O.V

"18 days left" i sighed. I went downstairs to bug Steph, " I wanna know your story you know before Sammy. When you were straight" I said while sipping orange juice.

" I was a wife of a horrible man, always drunk always hooking up with younger women. When i discovered i was pregnant i was really shocked i was to scared to tell him without proof that it was his,t hen one day he kicked me i was so scared my baby had been hurt i decided to tell him and then get ready to leave him because no one deserves such treatment, of course he got the child but i was finally free." Steph said

DANNY'S P.O.V

I can't believe I have finally found my mum, after all hose pointless tracking things my dad made. I feel all the emotions and memories I have of her bubbling inside of me, I started crying and it actually felt okay. 

Its been 15 years without her.
