I Won't Leave You

The Best Weekend Yet?

Third POV

"Robin wait!" Regina barely spits out from laughing so hard. He sets her down by the shore and she's surprised.

"Did you think I was going to drench you!?" He asks her.

"Yeah.." she replies shyly.

"I would never." He reassures. "I was protecting you." She smiles and goes to her tip toes to kiss him. They share a soft sweet kiss and afterwards he grabs a life vest off of a jet ski. He hands it to her and grabs his own. "Let me take you for a ride."

"Okay." She agrees and slips the vest on. She zips and buckles it, then she waits for his orders.

He gets the jet ski down from the ramp and helps her get on. He jumps on in front of her. "Hold on tight." He says as he starts it while wrapping the tether around his arm. She does just that and they head to the middle of the lake.

"Robin I swear to god if you make me fall off-" Regina starts.

Robin cuts her off with, "I won't I swear. And if I do, then no sex for me. Deal?" He pleads.

"Deal." She agrees.

Killian and Jefferson know exactly what to do. They get their girlfriends and themselves on a jet ski and head out as well. Will and Belle get on the boat to make the other couples some waves.

The waves are huge. 3 feet maybe? But huge for a jet ski.

"Killian! That wave is huge!!" Emma shouts in Killian's ear.

"I know," he responds. Killian heads directly for the wave. Straight on. They hit the wave and land in the tail of the jet ski, making Emma fall off the back.

"Emma!" Regina shouts worried.

"It's okay. She's okay." Robin replies.

"Are you-" Regina starts but is quickly cut off.

"Yes. I'm sure." He smiles and Regina giggles at his confidence.

The group jet skied for another hour or so and ate dinner. The boys managed to work up a fire and some s'mores.

"Regina," Robin starts. "There's something I need to tell you." She nods making him continue. She's playing with his hair and she's in his lap. "I um... I'm going to join the army after Valentines Day." He admits.

She abruptly jumps out of his lap. "What!? No. No I won't let you." She demands.

"Regina, it's not your choice. I really want to do this. We can still be together and everything." He tries.

Tears gather in her eyes. "But I can't risk losing you. Please. I-" she hesitates on her words. She wants to say it she really does. But everyone she's said it to has left her. All but Kelly. She wants to say 'I love you'. But instead "I need you." Comes out.

"And I you, but I really want to do this." He pleads with her.

She places her hands on his cheeks as tears fall down hers. She leans into him and gently places a kiss to his lips. "Okay," She whispers into the tiny space between them. "Okay," she repeats.

They all make their way into the cabin around 10. Mr and Mrs Locksley are fast asleep in the guest house.

"Good night guys. Regina and I are going to get to bed. She's a bit wiped out." Robin informed the crew. He had his arm draped around Regina's shoulders and he was holding her close. He kisses her temple as he casually walks her to their bedroom.

She changes into her pajamas and crawls into bed. Robin crawls in next to her and puts his arm over her side, his hand is protectively resting over her stomach. She nestled into him and takes in his smell of.. well almost a forest smell. She doesn't really care, but she absolutely loves it. she closes her eyes. She hears him whisper, "goodnight baby" and she falls asleep.
