-- Alex --
"I'm sorry, Alex. My name is Rachel, Elianna's best friend. The best friend who didn't know such a fine girl like yourself lived with her" She finished, casting a sly look at the blonde beside her.
"You're one proactive girl, and I love the name" I said, smiling.
"Hmm, thank you" she replied playing with her hair and flashing a bright smile.
Without waiting for a response, she hooked her arm with mine and led us toward the living room. I turned to Elianna, confusion written across my face. She just shrugged and grabbed the carton of juice and my half full glass, then followed us.
"Alright, everyone, let me introduce you to Alex. Isn't she pretty? The Asian over there is Mark, and this is Jason and Esther..." Rachel continued, her voice carrying over the group sprawled across the couch and floor. I offered an awkward smile, unsure what to do next.
A boy stood up quickly, nearly tripping over himself as he rushed toward me.
"Aww, Matt, can't you be more careful?" the Asian cried out when he walked on his hand.
"Shut up" Matt muttered before holding out his hand. "I'm Matthew, but you can call me Matt. Everyone does."
"Hi Mat," I said, shaking his hand briefly, but he had no intention of letting go. Elianna stepped in, pulling him a bit harshly. She motioned for me to join her on the couch, so I slide in next to her, subtly hiding behind her as all eyes turned to me.
"How did you get in? I didn't see you come in..." Mark asked.
"She lives here, Mark. She was in her room" Elianna replied.
"Oh" Matt's face lit up with realization. "So, do you have a boyfriend?"
"She's 18, Matt, too innocent for you and your dirty thoughts," Elianna interjected. Matt looked utterly stunned, as did the others.
"Shit, kids these days" Matt muttered, clearly impressed by my physical appearance. Not to brag about it by I'm fit and being 5'10 sometimes make people assume I'm older.
"Sorry, man" the Mark patted him on the back.
As if on cue, a boy emerged from the corner, wearing one of Elianna's dresses, with makeup that was a bit... off.
"Oh my God. You're almost sexy, Jason" Ryan said, grabbing his phone to record the moment.
"Don't you dare take pictures of me. I'm serious!" He shouted between laughs.
I couldn't hold back either, laughing at the sight, but my whole body froze when Elianna casually placed her hand on my thigh. She was still laughing, chatting with her friends, but her hand remained there, and I became painfully aware of it.
It was then that I really noticed what she was wearing: a light pink cocktail dress that stopped just above her knees, no shoes, and perfectly manicured toes painted in a color I couldn't even name, almost white, yet transparent. My eyes slowly traveled upward, taking in each perfectly crafted part of her body.
Her long blonde hair cascaded down her back, and her makeup was minimal, making her warm brown orbs all the more captivating, and a hint of gloss on her lips. God, she was stunning.
She turned to me, flashing that gorgeous smile of hers. How was it even possible that someone so flawless could be real?
I felt my breath catch in my throat as I struggled to maintain composure. "Stop" she whispered, her eyes lowering, and her hand on my thigh was suddenly gone.
I sighed, blinking several times. "I'm sorry. I really don't know what's going on with me these days" I muttered, nervously laughing as I grabbed her glass and finished it in one go.
