Chapter 8

"Do you know Gulf personally?? "
"Huh? Y-y-yes p-p-phi. He is a friend of mine."
"Really?? Why didn’t you tell me before? Can you please let me meet him? Na na na...  Type😀"

He only thinks of Gulf.. Then our hangouts,  our time spending don't mean anything to him?~~ thought Type(Gulf).
"Phi, you know Gulf, right? He doesn’t like to meet people even his fans." Type somehow managed to say.
"I just wanna look at him from this close once. I just wanna hear his voice closely for once. I swear I won't trouble him again."

Now what to do?? How will I manage? If phi somehow comes to know the truth,  will he hate me? Now what am I suppose to do?~~ thought Gulf.
"Ok, phi. I'll see what can I do for you." said Gulf giving a half smile to Mew.

"Were you drunk when you told p'Mew that?"  shouted Mild.
"I've already given him my words. Now what can I do?" Yes what can I do when I become so weak in front of him? I can't tolerate him begging me like that...  Thought Gulf.
"Now what?" asked Mild.
"Would I've come to you if I had known?"
"Just tell him the truth."
"You know I can't do this,Mild. What if he hates him? You know na I fear this the most?"
"Yes, I understand.  But Gulf I can't think of any other solution. "
"What if I meet him as Gulf?"
"Do you understand what you’re talking about? How long can you keep up with this act,haa?"
"It's the best option now, Mild. Yes, I'll do this."
Finally Gulf could relax after taking the decision.  But Mild was really worried about that. He was getting a bad vibe. He really didn’t wanna do this. But he can't also let his bestie suffer alone. After all they are more like brothers since high school.

The next day 

Mew and Gulf were having lunch together as usual. Gulf was hesitating how to lie to his phi without being caught.  He doesn’t like to lie especially to his phi who considers him as his best friend.
"Phiiii"
"Hmm.."
"I have a good news for you."
"What is it,nong? And why are you hesitating like it's bad news? "
"Gulf agreed to meet you."
"What???? Really??? Thanks a lot na Type."
Saying this Mew hugged Gulf.  And his excitement made Gulf feel worse for lying to him.
"How? When? Where? Tell me quickly."
"Yeah. This Sunday he agreed to meet you in SkyBlue restaurant." (I made this name😛)
"Then you be ready on time."
"What?"
"What what?"
"Phi you are gonna meet him, not me. Then why should I be ready on time?"
"What? You thought I'll meet him alone? Never.. You know na I'll be so nervous in front of him. And you’re my best buddy and his also..  He will also be at ease if you’re there."
"But phi...."
"No but... You'll go with me and that's final."
He sighed and agreed as he had no choice. He now felt he should've listened to Mild. He lied just once in his life and trapped badly in his own lies.
