Ella was finding it harder to keep her and jack a secret. She knew what Phil had done to him over thinking that he was sleeping with Sharon and she knew what he would do if he knew the truth over him and Ella, Phil would kill him.

Ella was worried as she knew that Ben had his suspensions over her and jack and Ella knew that the last thing that she wanted was for the truth to come out.

Ella was scared as she didn't want jack to be hurt by her family more than he already had been. Ella sighed to herself as she sat looking at her phone.

She didn't know what she was going to do, she looked to see the texts off of jack. Ella knew that she wanted to see him but she was scared. She didn't want to get him in anymore danger. Ella looked as Ben walked into the room and looked to her

"aren't you going to be late for school?" He asked as she rolled her eyes

"sixth form and since when did you become so worried about me" Ella asked

"since I realised who you could be spending your time with" Ben said as Ella shot him a glare

"I don't know what you think is going on, but your wrong" Ella said.

Ben rolled his eyes and sighed. "I'm not wrong. I know who you've been letting into your legs and you need to stop or else I'll tell dad."

"Tell him. See if I care. You have no proof and you seem to forget, I know a lot more about you. And unless you want dad to find out, I suggest you leave me alone," Ella said as she walked off.

Ella couldn't believe that Ben was trying to blackmail her. She didn't know what he knew. But she knew he had something on her. Something that could ruin everything.

Ella saw a text from Jack;

'We need to cool things off a bit. Too many people are getting suspicious- Jack'

Ella knew that deep down, she and Jack couldn't come clean with their relationship. It was wrong. She was only sixteen which meant while she was legal to have sex, she couldn't be with Jack officially.

Ella looked up as Louise walked into the cafe. She sighed. "Dad is looking for you. He knows that you skived from school and he's not happy."

Ella swore. The last thing she wanted was to have Phil find out she bunked off of school. She sighed and nodded. "Okay. I'm coming now. I might as well get the headache over and done with," she said.

Phil looked up as Ella walked in. He glared. "What the hell have you been playing at?!" He yelled.

"Don't yell at me! I didn't go into school cause I didn't feel up to it. I had a headache. But at least I didn't stay on the streets getting drunk," she said.

Phil scoffed. "You're supposed to be getting your education! You're not supposed to be off bunking school!" He yelled.

Ella glared at him. "Stop yelling at me! I'm sixteen. If I want to take some time off of school. Like a day, then I will! Okay?!" She yelled.

Phil walked towards Ella. She moved back away from him scared that he would hit her. "I'm not staying here anymore. You're just a washed up alcoholic. I'd be better off staying somewhere else!"

Ella didn't know where she was going to go. She saw Sharon who walked towards her and sighed. "I'm guessing my dad sent you?" She asked.

"Yeah. He doesn't want you staying somewhere else. He wants you here with him."

"He doesn't understand though. I didn't feel well at all. I didn't feel like school. But I didn't want to come back home and sit there," Ella said.

Sharon nodded. "I understand that. But just come back home. Your dad won't go on at you."

Ella saw Jack and sighed. She looked at Sharon. "I'll come back in a bit. I just need some air."

Sharon nodded and walked off. Ella walked over to Jack and sighed. "Look. I meant what I said. Maybe we should cool things down."

Ella nodded and sighed. But could she truly keep away from Jack? Or would her need for him get too much?
