for winter it was just another day in the routine. except this day would be rather different. winter walked into class and took out her books when the principal and some dumb boy walked in.
he was tall, blond, with the same blue eyes that sparkled like winter's. he also had a lip ring which winter thought was pretty cool.
"um hello class, this is our new student lucas. he'll be joining us for the rest of the year... um okay well carry on."
winter's principal was a very awkward man. he was afraid of most of the students and was madly in love with winter's favorite teacher ms. upton.
after mr. bentley (the principal) left all the sluts in winter's homeroom started drooling over lucas. he picked a seat in the back right corner, diagonal from winter. girls swarmed him asking questions like ;
"where are you from?"
"do you have a girlfriend?"
"god, you're so bloody cute."
winter turned her head to see lucas starring at her. finally he got up and walked over to her. winter's palms were sweaty and she didn't know why. she hadn't liked any of the other wankers and she wasn't going to start with some boy she didn't even know.
"hi, im luke." he said flashing a smile.
"winter.." all the girls were giving winter nasty looks. others were astonished cause it was the first word they've ever heard from her.
"don't seem to like winter too much. rather too cold for me."
"no, that's my name." she replied rolling her eyes. she didn't like conversations. especially not with boys.
"alright class, that's enough interrogating lucas." ms. upton said with a giggle. no one else seemed to find it funny.
"actually I prefer luke. "
"australian?"
"yeah. " luke said with a smile. all the girls swooned and watched luke do nothing but stare at winter.
