Robyn POV
As I scroll through the album saved in my photos app titled "pops💯," I recall some words he left me with before the security guard grabbed his arm, aggressively informing him that he had to return to his cell.
"Don't ever let nobody see you weak, nobody" he says with glassy eyes and a sort of angry but sad look on his face.
I breath through my nose angrily, watching the cop touch my dads skin, something I wasn't able to do,
"I won't.""Beep, beep, beep" my alarm starts to go off unnecessarily because I've been up for about an hour now, not of my own leisure, But I guess I should get ready huh. I pull the covers off of the lower half of my body and exhaustedly slide out of the bed. I wonder if he meant what he said, that he'll help me. I can't help but smile as I think about his reassuring suggestion.
After I finished getting dressed and doing my hair, I grab my back pack and head downstairs.
"Well I don't know what to tell her" I hear my aunts voice coming from the downstairs hallway. As I get to the last step and she notices me, "I gotta go" *click* "Good morning Robyn" she says with a fake smile on her face.
"Who was that" I say keeping an unamused face. She's hiding something.
"Oh that? That was you know" she hesitates, "just some business partner" she says waving it off with her hand.
Before I could call her bluff, Frank comes strolling in with a big smile on his face.
"There are my two girls!" He says rapping his hand around her waist, "I can whip up some pancake batter real quick if you all would like" he says looking between us.
"Nah I'm good" I say glaring at my aunt "I dont have an appetite" which causes Frank to look between us again a little confused.
"Yeah honey I should get going" she says with a guilty look in her eyes. She kisses Frank and then makes her way out of the front door, finally disappearing from my vision.
She's definitely hiding something.

Me and Haley get to second block and take our usual seats. Tiffany walks in after, dang I forgot she was even a thing. Lastly three tall basketball players show up in the doorway having a conversation about who knows what, probably talking about strippers or something. Cameron nods at the other two and makes his way down the hall. They come in but before Mikey gets to his seat he makes his way over to me and Haley.
"Haleyyy" he says slowing down the pronunciation of her name and sending her a flirtatious head nod, causing her to blush.
"Good morning" she shys putting a piece of hair behind her ear.
"And the Robster!" He says putting his hand out to dap me up.
I shake my head in disappointment at the corny name he just tried to give me, "what's up Mikey" I say with a little chuckle. I notice out of the corner of my eye Lucas in the middle of rolling his eyes as he takes his seat, so of course I say something. "What, did you want one too?" I say to him as if I'm talking to a baby which causes him to glare at me.
