WELCOME TO ENCHANTED BOOK CLUB!This book club was created to help authors (beginners and veterans) gain popularity, make friends, and receive positive feedback and recognition! As a beginner author, I understand how hard it is to get people interested in your story, which is why I created this!
HOW IT WORKS:
Members are called princes or princesses.
Group Leaders are called kings or queens.
Everyone will have a partner. Each week, partners will read one chapter of the other's books until they finish it. Once they finish the books, they must notify me and I will give them a different partner. Partners must leave at least 2+ in line comments that is more than one word, and an honest 3-4+ sentence review. It must say what they liked about the chapter, some suggestions to improve (if there are any), etc. You can also correct any mistakes, be polite. You must also vote. When you're done reading the chapter, you must come back to this book and leave an in-line comment next to where I tagged you in the log saying 'Done'.
At the beginning of the month, I will chose 3 books at random for the WHOLE club to read. We all must read two chapters of each book. Authors note and/or prologue do not count. We must leave 2 in-line comments, with again, more than two words and an honest review at the end. And vote.
There will be different groups. To make it easier for me to keep track of. Remember, ALL genres are accepted, so if you're not willing to read certain genre's then this club isn't for you.
The groups are:
The Witches
The Sorcerers
The Fairies
There will also be group leaders who make sure everyone has done their task.
WHY BE A GROUP MEMBER (AKA QUEEN/KING)? Here are some of the benefits you get:
A follow from this account.
Your book will be added to this account's reading list and advertised on one of these chapters.
Members in your group have to follow you for easier communication.
There will be strikes. What is a strike?
You can earn a strike by doing one or more of these things:
Leaving unannounced.
Skipping reading your (sorry to interrupt, but the password is your favorite song. For example, my favorite song is Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics so I'd put that down) partner's book or the three books that are chosen at the end of the month.
Not following the rules.
Being rude.
Being inactive.
You only have two strikes. If you past that, I will exclude you from the club's activities until you make
it up. Contact me for questions about making up your strikes.
