The Child of light....or darkness (Prologue)

In the Xiao long/Rose/Brawnwen household. A child's cry roared through the night, waking up almost all the adults in the house.

Tea:Summer...y/n's crying again...(Tai's gonna be genderbent 😃)

She said in a tired and warn out voice while gently nudging Summer. She continued to sleep as Tea sighed and sat up but was stopped by a certain red eyes and black haired woman who yawned and slowly got out of the bed.

Raven:I'll feed him...it's my turn anyways...

Tea nodded and fell back into bed making summer almost roll off. Raven walked towards their room door and opened it as she then made her way to y/n's room. Once she reached his room she cracked open the door to see y/n holding onto the bars of his crib and crying as his eyes started to flicker from gold to red. She sighed and fully opened the door as y/n's crying quieted down with his eyes still full of tears, reaching for his mother.

Raven:y/n...sweetie, you do know what time it is right?

Y/n's eyes started to water even more as his cheeks puffed up. She knew what this meant and quickly tried to make him calm down.

Raven:Oh no! Y/n mommy was just joking, she knows you haven't been able to sleep as much any more. She's Soo sorry.

The water in y/n's eyes started to go away as his cheeks started to go down.

Raven:But seriously sweetie, mommy's a hunter so she has to get plenty of rest.

Y/n didn't listen to her as he kept his arms out towards her. Raven sighed and picked him up as she then lowered her shirt and pulled him up to her breast and started to feed him.

Raven: Seriously you can't keep being breast fed. It's starting to tire me and Summer out nowadays...are you even listening?

Y/n payed her no attention and continued to eat/drink... (Listen I'm too tired to google it...wait do any of you know which one it is?)

Raven:...I saw you trying to use your semblance.

Y/n opened his eyes and looked at her as she glared at him and sighed.

Raven:What have i said about using your semblance in the house. Last time you used it, you burned down some trees in the backyard...

Y/n bit her as she winced in pain and looked at him with a glare before switching and continuing to feed him.

Raven:Your also very impatient...you get that trait from me, I know that much.

Y/n looked at her with a blank face yet she could tell he understood. She sighed and stopped him from feeding as she lifted him up to her.

Raven:That's enough, we don't want you to overfeed yourself and start throwing up again do we?

Raven put him over her shoulder and started to pat him on his back. While sing a lullaby.

Raven:Cast away your worries, my dear. For tommorow comes a new day, Hold to me. You've nothing to fear. For your dreams are not far away.

Y/n burped and yawned as he started to have a hard time keeping his eyes open.

Raven:As you lay your head and rest. May your dreams take over, my love. Listen close my son of the west. For your destiny lies above.

Y/n started to slowly fall asleep, allowing Raven to put him back in his crib

Raven:Though the world is cold there's a light that still shines in the darkest days of our lives.

She carefully gave him his teddy bear and put his blanket over him.

Raven:When all hope seems lost and you can't find your way. Think of me as you look to the sky.

He opened his eyes for a second before closing them and tightly hugging his bear.

Raven:Child mine your future is bright for your father's blood in your veins. In dark times. I pray you will fight. For the world will soon know your name.

Y/n drifted off to sleep as Raven rubbed and kissed his forehead

Raven:Hope you get enough sleep tonight, you have a busy day tommorow since it'll be your second birthday.

Kanto:Alright everyone, I'm ending it here because I have something important to say.

So, all before I've said all y/n's in my books are connected. And what I meant by that was they all will be in one final fanfic of mine and they'll be fighting the ones who wronged them...so far all y/n's have had a rough life...I was thinking...what do you all think about giving this one a good story, no abuse and no neglection. Just y/n going around and sorta following the story for the RWBY timeline... So...what will you pick? This is extremely important so pick wisely

Will y/n become an angel and follow the path that's lights up the most?

Or

Will become a demon, following the path to darkness and loneliness?

Or...will he become both...making peace and destruction, following his own path and making a mark on Remnant?
