>>Chapter Fourteen: Into the Mall<<

>>Adriene's Point of View<<

G minor. G minor. G minor...........

What McKenna said is really stuck in my head. I've been sitting here for an hour just strumming the same cord, thinking. I can't do this anymore!

I placed my guitar down and walked over to my closet. I picked out some jeans and a flowy tank top, throwing them on. I took my hair out of it's bun and braided it to the side. I brushed on some mascara and cover-up, grabbed my phone, and left my room.

"Well look who is finally done hibernating!" My mom said as I walked past her.

I rolled my eyes. "I'm going to Zayn's."

"Have fun." She yelled over her shoulder as I walked through the door.

Just raise your hand and knock. I did as my brain commanded, and a couple seconds later the door opened to reveal Safaa.

"Adriene!" She squealed. "Why are you here?"

I shrugged. "I wanted to see Zayn and the rest of the Maliks."

She gestured inside. "Zayn is in the lounge with Walihya. Doniya and my parents went out."

I grabbed her hand and pulled her along as I skipped to the lounge. Over the couch I could see the top of Zayn's head, and I ran over and jumped over the couch, landing next to him.

"AHH!" Zayn flinched when I landed, and I cracked up laughing. "You scared me!"

"I can tell!" I said through my laughs.

"Why are you here?" He asked. His hair was down instead of up in it's normal quiff, and he was a t-shirt and jeans.

"We," I pulled him up so we were both standing. "Are going to hang out today."

He raised his eyebrows. "We are?"

"Yes." I grabbed his hand and pulled him along. "We haven't gone out just the two of us in awhile. So that's what we are going to do today!"

He put his sneakers on. "Where are we going?"

"The mall."

"The mall?!? We'll get attacked by fans!"

I reached into my purse and pulled out a blonde wig. "Not if we're in disguise." I positioned it on his head then placed sunglasses over his eyes.

"How do I look?" He struck a pose and I giggled.

"Fab!" I said in an annoying tone. I then pulled out my black wig and placed it over my hair. I positioned my sunglasses as Zayn took my hand and we made our way to my car.

"Never," Paul said seriously as he started the car. "Go to the mall without telling me again. Got it?"

Zayn and I both nodded. "It would have been fine if Zayn hadn't knocked his wig off right in front of those girls."

Zayn crossed his arms. "You had knocked your's off earlier, and we had to run away from that little girl that started to squeal!"

"Yes, but I didn't get the whole mall to start attacking us."

"You were the one that put that knocked my wig off!"

"You should have put it on correctly!"

"You put it on me!"

I opened my mouth but no comeback came out. "I guess this is kinda my fault."

Zayn shrugged. "I still had a fun forty-five minutes."

I moved closer to him. "Me too." He put his arm around my shoulders and I smiled at him. Maybe things would just work themselves out.

But something was bugging me even more now. When we were in the mall I first saw a magazine saying that Camille and Harry had broken up. Then I saw another magazine that said Sabrina had dumped Nathan.

Was it just a coincidence? No. It wasn't. I've learned from my mistakes. You can never be too cautious when it comes to Sabrina.

She was up to something, and somehow Camille was a part of it.
