Quarantine

A/N Before this chapter starts I just wanna say that I am in no way saying that this is real, and what happened between them. We don't know anything at the end of the day!

It was April 2020 and the corona virus pandemic had become extremely serious.

 Riverdale's production and filming had been suspended until further notice. All of the cast had moved back to L.A like they do every hiatus.

 Lili had been staying at an air bnb until she purchases a house that she will eventually move into.

 Cole had been staying with Kj at his place.

 Lili and Cole weren't quarantined together because they both left Vancouver to come to L.A at different times, Cole coming a few weeks before Lili, but as soon as Lili purchases her new place, both Cole and Lili will move in there together.

Cole's POV

Both me and Lili have decided to go even more private with our relationship. We tried to not make it that public in the first place, but people still think we owe them "content" so we are doing this for our own good, because in all honestly, how I feel and how Lili feels come before caring about what others think.

We both decided to delete most of our pictures together on instagram.

Lili's  POV 

It's like 10 pm in L.A right now and me and Cole are just chilling on the couch in my air bnb because he's spending the night. 

We decided to make our relationship 100% private because all the assumptions and false accusations were too much.

 I started deleting pictures of us on my instagram and only left one of us together and two of just Cole.

 I also told my family to unfollow Cole on instagram to avoid fans harassing them, or so I thought.

Cole's POV

It was a about a week later and people were going crazy over Lili deleting a few pics, and her family unfollowing me.

 People obviously started to assume we broke up, which was expected,but what was not expected was the death threats I started to receive, people leaking my address, and almost everybody accusing me of cheating with Kaia Gerber, a friend of mine who I hung out with once over this quarantine.

 I usually never address hate or any sort on  my social media because I've grown up in this industry and people are always gonna have something to say. But in this case I had to speak up or else it would just keep getting worse. 

So I posted 3 posts to my instagram story basically saying to stop with the false accusations and that I knew this would be one of the foreseeable consequences of stepping into a public relationship.

Lili's POV

Because most of my family unfollowed Cole for their own well being, people started to rumor that Cole was cheating which is outrageous.

 After Cole addressed all the hate he'd been receiving on social media, my mom posted an apology on her instagram story saying that her unfollowing Cole was not with the intention for him to receive hate but simply to "protect me". Which honestly, her apology made it a lot worse because of the way she worded it, but I knew she meant well. 

Cole's POV

Sadly after my little rant on my instagram story, people somehow took that as a confirmation of our breakup, which it certainly wasn't.

 From there on me and Lili were careful to neither deny or confirm the status of our relationship because that was the only way we were gonna have privacy. 

We became way less active on social media, and we were careful not to like eachother's posts either. 

I then started to delete most of my photos of Lili, leaving only two. This only made people wanna speculate our relationship more, so me and Lili took a bit of a break from social media. 

Most days we were fine and would hang out a couple times a week and facetime eachother everyday obviously. But there were certain days where all the stress and assumptions would get to Lili, and I'd reassure her as much as possible, and there were certain days where it would get to me and affect my mental health, but Lili was always there to help me through it.

Lili's POV

At one point, all of this hate and constant speculation got to Cole.

 I made sure I was there for him but it really annoyed me that people behind a screen were causing us to be so stressed out. So I made a couple of posts on twitter ranting about how upset and disappointed I was in the people who called themselves my fans.

 To sum it up I basically said "Bully me all you want I can handle that, but once you bully the people I love the most, you've drawn the line."

 I later deleted the posts because I don't want all this negativity to get the best of me before I say something I regret.

Cole's POV

About a month later it was the three year anniversary of when I first photographed Lili in Antelope Valley's poppy field.

 So since everything had calmed down, me and Lili  decided to tease the fans a bit and do another photoshoot there. 

Lili's POV

Me and Cole decided to tease the fans a bit but, we needed a little bit of a plan.

 Myself, Cole and my best friend Austyn were gonna head up to Antelope Valley for a photoshoot.

 I'm gonna post the good shots we get and then Austyn will post as well so that hopefully people think that me and Austyn just took a little roadtrip and photographed eachother.

 So we did just that, but then on my post somebody asked who took the photo, and just to mess with them I said Milo, my dog.

 If people are smart they'll realize Cole took them, and if they don't....oh well.
