"How was your anniversary?" E asked me as we ate our Panda Express lunch. We've been at the studio all morning recording with different artists so instead going out we just decided to get it delivered.
"We went mini golfing-."
"Best mini golfing?" E snorted.
"I had fun..."
".....but?"
"There was something off about him I couldn't figure it out, he just.... I don't know." After going mini golfing and acting like little kids we went to dinner then ended the night with a little Netflix and chill. I loved that we did something simple and enjoyed each other's company but D was acting stand offish, a little nervous even. A knock on the door caught both of our attention.
"Come in." I called out.
"Delivery for you boss." Julia came walking in and I awed at the roses she held in her arms. Julia placed them on the table and immediately grabbed the card reading it.

"D trying to earn brownie points?" E joked.
"It's not from him, I don't think?"
"You don't- best what does the card say?"
"It says and I quote "Thanks For Being So Beautiful - Anonymous", I don't think this is D." The handwriting on the card didn't match his.
"Julia who delivered these?"
"Just the the delivery guy and he didn't say they were from." She shrugged making her way out of the room.
"Maybe it's just D making a romantic gesture." E shrugged throwing away her food. She's probably right so without second guessing it I took a picture of the flowers posting it on snap with a few heart emojis.
"Who got flowers?" Slightly jumping at the sound of Lil Baby's deep voice. I was too deep in my phone to notice that he walked in and got comfortable.
"Lover girl over there."
"Savage."
"Yea Dominique?" Another knock on the door was heard and Julia again walked in.
"You got another delivery."
"What is it?" Julia handed me the box, with no hesitation I opened it gasping. Two gold and silver anklets shined in the light almost blinding me.
