It wasn't fair that Tony got dibs on taking care of Steve, he doesn't even take care of himself.

"Stark's helping Rogers recover the important parts  of memory, end of discussion." Nick Fury had told her after she questioned why he'd leave Steve in the hands of the shitty billionaire.

Lilith didn't hate Tony, she just didn't like him. He sucked, was so arrogant and full of himself and it irritated her.

Ever since he had taken Steve to stay with him, he was seen less in public, and wouldn't allow surprise visits or any sort of visit unless he gave permission.

"It can be overwhelming for Steve and I don't want that for him." Tony used as a shitty excuse on why no one was allowed to see Steve.

But as the days went on and Steve started to remember a little bit more about himself, Tony began to return to throwing parties, but they weren't his big, open for all, parties.

Instead he only allowed their closest friends, and Lilith as lucky she was a mutual. The parties were the only times she got to see him and she didn't dare to miss an opportunity to be around him.

Steve was always glued to Tony's side, but tonight's party was different. Tony was sitting on the couch with Rhodey, Peter, and Natasha and when Lilith went to grab a drink she found Steve having a conversation with Sam.

She silently grabbed a cup and poured herself some fruit punch, hearing their conversation come to and end and she approached him when Sam was out of the kitchen.

"Tony mentioned you guys renovated the upstairs, I wanted a tour but he's too busy bragging about himself," she rolled her eyes before drinking her punch, waiting for him to offer.
