16: Zoo (Pt.2)

'Should we separate into groups?' Jeongyeon suggested after hearing from Momo about... them.

'Nah let's stick as 9. Or you hand my team
Y/N, whoever is with me.' Nayeon said, walking on like a queen.

'Where do you want to go to Y/N?' Jeongyeon asked her daughter, who was looking around, bewildered.

'Thought we would go anti-clockwise.' Tzuyu chimed in.

'Dumb. Let Y/N choose.'

'I want...mmm...uhhh...that.' Y/N pointed to the elephants in a huge cage.

  Jeongyeon walked to the elephant cave without hesitation while the others follow suit.

  'Eomma they're fat.' Y/N said, watching their moves.

  Jeongyeon couldn't help but laugh at her daughter's straightforward comment.

  'They're elephants! Elephants are like that!!' Jeongyeon said, laughing while the others stared at her weirdly.

'But they're fat.' Y/N said, now walking towards the cage as Jeongyeon let her on the floor, following closely behind.

'Be careful baby.' Jeongyeon warned from behind.

'Eomma I want to touch them.' Y/N said, sticking her arm in between the gaps of the cage.

'Baby come back.' Jeongyeon warned, holding onto her daughter's tiny waist.

'Ani Eomma! I want to be their friends.' Y/N whined. Jeongyeon, once again, laughed at her daughter's cute comment.

'Let's go look at other animals.' Jeongyeon said, carrying her daughter once again.

'No Eomma! You see they're walking! They're big!' Y/N said, not making much sense.

'We can see more fun animals around here!' Jeongyeon persuaded her.

'JEONGIE QUICK!' Nayeon shouted from where the bird cages were.

Jeongyeon ran to Nayeon, ignoring her struggling daughter she was carrying.

'Eomma what are they?' Y/N asked, once she calmed down.

'Birds. The animals that can fly.' Nayeon said, pointing at one flying around the cage.

Jeongyeon let Y/N on the ground. She became silent, watching the birds fly around, eating occasionally. It was her first time at a zoo after all.

But she soon got bored of the birds again, so she ran to Chaeyoung, who was looking at the tigers in a cage.

'Y/N? Why are you alone?' Chaeyoung asked, holding onto her daughter's hand after crouching down.

'Yoo *pant* Y/N *pant* stop run- *pant* -ning away *pant* from Eomma *pant*.' Jeongyeon said, catching up with her daughter.

'Mianhae Eomma!' Y/N said, still giggling.

Suddenly, one of the tigers from inside woke up and started walking towards the side of its cage, where all the visitors were.

'Cat! Big cat! Come here!' Y/N said, while the tiger was walking towards their direction.

'Ani, Y/N, it's a tiger.' Chaeyoung explained slowly.

'Tiger! Come here!' Y/N said, once again sticking her arm into the gaps between the cage.

'NO Y/N!' Nayeon shouted, pulling her daughter away from the cage as the tiger was starting to get too close to her daughter.

'But the tiger wanted to be fwends with me.' Y/N pouted, looking at her mom.

'Y/N it's dangerous. It's not an animal like Boo. Stick to Eomma ok?' Nayeon said, holding onto her daughter's hand tightly and walking away, the others following behind.

'Great you're here. Let's go in.' Sana said, once she noticed Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Chaeyoung and Y/N.

'What's this?'

'A bat cave.' Sana said happily, walking in without waiting for them.

'Eomma I don't want to go in.' Y/N said, pulling on Nayeon's leg as she saw the dark atmosphere inside.

'It's okay Y/N. Eomma is here just don't let go ok?'

'Ani it's dark and scawy...'

'Come on.' Nayeon said, taking her daughter into her arms. 'Eomma's going to be here.'

Y/N hid her face in her mom's neck as she walked into the dark cave, where all the bats were flying around.

'Eomma!' Y/N cried, after looking up just to see these 'scary' creatures flying around her, without a barrier.

'Shhhh it's okay.' Nayeon assured her, pulling her daughter's head to her shoulder.

'Ani Eomma go out!!!' Y/N cried harder.

'Y/N it's okay, they won't hurt you. We have to walk out so wait a bit ok? Just don't look up.' Nayeon said, kissing the top of her daughter's head.

Her daughter was shaking out of fear in her arms, causing her to chuckle.

~Time skip: Out of the bat cave~
'Y/N you can look up now.' Nayeon said.

Y/N looked up, but her face was slightly red from crying.

'OMO Y/N! What happened?' Sana asked, caressing her daughter's cheek and kissing her forehead.

'She got scared of the bats.' Nayeon chuckled, looking at her daughter to make sure she was ok.

'Awww.' Sana cooed, trying to take her from Nayeon's arms, but Y/N pulled away, wanting to stay with Nayeon.

'Sorry Sana, she's mine today.' Nayeon teased, sticking her tongue out at Sana.

The latter scrunched her face up for a second before walking to the others.

'Eomma I'm yours today?' Y/N asked, repeating what she heard from Nayeon.

'Yup! My Y/N is all mine today right?' Nayeon said, bopping her daughter's nose.

Y/N laughed and clinged onto her favourite mom's neck, looking around the zoo for more animals.

'Y/N are you hungry?' Nayeon suddenly asked, as she noticed a hot dog stand.

'I want to eat.'

'GUYS! IM GONNA BUY FOOD FOR Y/N!' Nayeon shouted to the others at the front, then walked to the hot dog stand to buy her daughter one.

'Let Eomma eat some.' Nayeon said, opening her mouth wide, hoping for her daughter to feed her, despite having her tiny hands covered with sauce.

Y/N didn't even hesitate to give her mom a bite, which surprised Nayeon.

'My Y/N is the best!!' Nayeon said, squeezing her daughter tight. 'Gomawo Y/N.'

~Time skip : End of the day~
As they left the zoo, Y/N was already half asleep in Nayeon's arms, and Nayeon arms were tired from carrying her daughter, but that definitely doesn't mean she minded.

'Y/N-ah... did you have fun?' Nayeon whispered.

'Naeee... Saranghae Eomma!' Y/N suddenly 'confessed', causing Nayeon to become surprised for the second time of the day.

'Aahhhhhh!! Saranghae Y/N!!!' Nayeon squealed, hugging her daughter tight, again.

'Y/N what about me?' Momo asked, carrying Y/N, but to her dismay, Y/N was whining to go back to Nayeon.

'Ani Y/N, Nayeon Eomma's arms are hurting.' Momo said.

'Ani! I want Eomma Bunny!' Y/N whined.

'Aigoo anything for my Y/N!!' Nayeon said, taking her daughter back.

'Stay jealous.' Nayeon said, sticking her tongue out at the 8 girls.
