"Keep your voice low, I have a roommate."
Apparently that voice wasn't low enough to keep MC asleep, and she awoke to voices from the living room. One was Kira's, but the other voice was unrecognisable. It was quite a unique voice, the voice soft and low. Despite the closed doors muffling their voices, MC could still hear snippets of conversation.
"That's what i'm here to talk about." the other voice responded, his voice calm and gentle, as if he was trying to tame a horse... probably. MC hadn't ever heard someone tame a horse, but she figured you would p r o b a b l y do it like that if you did.
Anyway, not the point. She figured she should probably stop the habit of her brain drifting off topic so easily. Why is he here to talk about me?
"What about it?" Kira spoke slowly, as if thinking through her words, while at the same time, sounding fairly innocent. MC wondered what the other person had done, and why he was here to discuss her.
"Well, you've put MC into a fairly dangerous situation. You do know that she will-" he was cut off by Kira.
"It's late at night, and MC is trying to sleep. You should return back to where you came from."
MC hadn't heard Kira speak in that harsh tone before. It was different from yelling or shouting. It was as if she knew that she was above him.
Hold on. How did he know my name? Hold?? On???? I'm in a dangerous situation?????? MC had a talent for catching on to things late. The voice had already been ushered out the door, with the door closing with a firm turn of the lock.
MC suddenly felt quite a bit less safe in the apartment then she once did. She pushed her body up against the wall, right in the corner, so she could see the whole room. And any possible threats. Obviously it was just a room, but the night and suspicious situation always seem to turn any coat hanger into a person standing in the room.
Then she saw her phone light up.
New chatroom.
MC clicked on the notification and was immediately greeted by Yoosung ranting.
Yoosung*: noooooooo T_T
Yoosung*: this is terrible
I wonder what's happening? I hope he's alright.
MC: What happened??
Yoosung*: the LOLOL server is under maintenancee
Yoosung*: now me and my team can't play T_T
...At least he's not in danger... MC decided to joke around with him for a while to get her mind off things. She had realised over the last few days that talking to Yoosung and the rest of the RFA was quite easy.
MC: Oh no!! That really is terrible :(
Yoosung*: !! you understand!!
Yoosung*: the rest of the RFA just makes fun of me for my LOLOL addiction
MC: awww no!! that's so mean
MC: You better be taking care of yourself tho
Yoosung*: i do!!
Yoosung*: i try to take care of myself
Yoosung*: like today, i made myself breakfast, then went to school and didn't text during class!!!
MC: Good job!
MC: i'm proud of u
MC giggled as if she were in middle school, before pausing to think about what noise just came out of her mouth. What was that. She shook her head to get her mind back on track.
Yoosung and MC chatted for a while, talking about college, mainly how much it sucked. According to Yoosung, he used to be a great student in high school, before his grades dropping in college.
MC: I'm sure if you tried hard, your grades would improve!!
Yoosung*: but it's difficult T_T
Yoosung*: i know!!!
Yoosung*: maybe one day, we can study together!!!
MC: Great idea!!
MC checked the time on her phone, then realised that it was 3:30 in the morning.
MC: We should probably sleep soon
Yoosung*: yea,,, that's a good idea
Yoosung*: goodnight MC!!! sleep well!!!
MC: Okay, goodnight Yoosung! And you better get some sleep otherwise i'll be upset >:(
Yoosung*: lololol
Yoosung*: i'll be sure to sleep! bye bye MC!!
MC set her phone down and smiled. She was right- talking to Yoosung did take her mind off things.
He really was nice.
