I couldn't sleep, I tried, I had a nightmare of Ashely beating Nessa up. I cant, I don't want to lose her, she the only person who cared about me, Aaron too..
I saw Nessa entering the room, I didn't realize I was crying until I rubbed my eyes, I wiped them quickly.
Vanessa : are you ok Roni?
Veronica : I am. Why are you asking??
Vanessa : you dont seem well to me...
Veronica : I'm fine I promise
I hated lying to her, I HATED IT! But I just dont want to make her worried.
Vanessa : why didn't you sleep??
Please stop asking questions...
Veronica : I'm not tired.
I said not looking at her, I felt embarrassed. I put my head down not facing her.
Vanessa : Roni...
The awkwardness filled the room.
Vanessa : Roni, look at me..
I didn't want to look at her eyes for some reason...
Veronica : what?? I told you I'm fine
I said faking a smile. I knew she won't believe me.
Vanessa : please Roni. You are amazing, don't be ashamed of yourself... we are twins, what you gonna feel is what I'm gonna feel. I feel great having you, I feel thankful because you are next to me now. Please, stop thinking about negative thoughts... I'll always be here.
I looked at her. Her eyes filled with sympathy and love.
Veronica : Nessa..
Vanessa : hmm??
Veronica : why do you care about me?? I'm worthless piece of crap, no one likes me. I'm ugly, I shouldn't even li-
Vanessa : heyy!!
I jumped, she scared me, did I say something botherd her?? I made her mad... IM DUMB IM DUM-
