Chapter 12: Together

One of the judge named Taki voiced out.

Taki: Congratulation for passing the audition in this drama. All of you will be given the role accordingly. For the time being, please wait for a moment here.

In the room, there were about 10 contestants that had passed. All of them were given a paper displaying the role that they would be in the drama, including Kanade and Keigo. It was a slice of life genre drama named "Bonds". It is the story about the bond between a friends in overcame the hardship in life. The protagonist is trying to find the culprit that destroyed his life with the help of his friend. And so on....

The story is really interesting. The truth is Kanade didn't expected that he really passed the audition and get one of the role in that drama. He looked to the paper given on his hand, he got to become a character that befriend with the protagonist which is one of the main character. Talk about luck. He then, looked to the paper that Keigo got.

Kanade: Wow, congratulation. You've got it! the protagonist role. Good work, Keigo. Well, please take care of me then. *pat Keigo's back

Keigo: hmm....yeah..

Kanade: ?? Keigo, What's wrong?

Contestant : Keigo san?

Keigo: yeah? *looked toward the voice 

Contestant: I'm Yujin. Seems to be I'm gonna be your enemy in this drama. I hope we'll do our best. *pull out his hand with smile

Keigo: *slight smiled. Yeah, you too. *reach his hand and shook hand

Yujin released the hand then shook hand with Kanade. After that, he walked to other contestants. Keigo still in silence state. He looked space out. Kanade wondered of what had gone to him. He poked to Keigo's arm trying to get his attention. 

Keigo: ehh, what?

Kanade: Nee, what's wrong? You don't looked happy much.

Keigo: .......well...*looked down

Keigo: I supposed to be happy about it. But,..... I don't know...... I just thought about Shin somehow. I guess this was the feeling of guilt that Shin felt that time.

Kanade: .........

Keigo: I left him with a bad expression that time.....Now, I started to feel guilty on him.

Kanade tried to blend the story that happened. He understood that Keigo scared to overcome his fear. He worried of what would Shin thought after this happened. He wished to keep their bond stayed, but the negative thought have overwhelming his mind.

Shin: He was an old friend that far, far precious to me

Shin: I am who I am today because of the time I had with him.

Kanade remember of what Shin have said once. He smiled. Shin treasured Keigo very much.

Kanade: Keigo, when you started to come back in the industry, Shin was really happy to see it. As what I can say is that he really put his faith on you. He cared for you more than you thought so. He always say to me that you always support and helping him which encourage him to keep moving forward even there were deep torn wound that hardly to heal.

Keigo: Kanade...

Kanade: He did say "I am who I am today because of the time I had with him"

Shin: You guys go ahead. I'll wait you guys here. *smiled sincerely

The word really struck to Keigo's heart making him remind about what they have spend time so much together that time. They laughed and shared the feeling together. The smiled of their face that time make Keigo started to smiled back. He felt pathetic. He was the one that still not move on after all this. He laughed and put a sighed.
