For once I wanted to be deaf.

So I can ignore the scream..

Of my fellow countrymen crying for justice..

That is solely for those who have money..

I wanted to be deaf,

So I can ignore the lies..

Those men in uniform spout.

I wanted to be deaf,

Like those in higher position does..

I wanted to be deaf...
