"Its almost time....Time for the reckoning to appear...We are missing something...."
A hand appeared from the dark abyss. Quiet whispers of what sounded like to be chanting grew louder. The hand pointed at a figure with long Blue hair, the mark of the sin, and demonic mark on the figure started to glow.
"Join us...the time is near for you to be one...the gift you bear will come in use...for the war...chosen one...join us..." The hand reached for the blue-haired figure.
"The war..chosen one", the chants grew louder, "join us....chosen one...war is near...join us...Join us! JOIN US! THE WAR IS NEAR! THE ONE CHOSEN MUST BEAR THE GIFT AND FOLLOW WHAT IS KNOWN TO BE THEIR DESTINY!"
"Breyanne..."
~~~~"Gasp!" I woke up and jolted up from the bed I laid in, seeing that I was in my room of the tavern. Looking down, I noticed I was no longer in my outfit from yesterday, but instead black sweatpants and a white shirt. Noticing that I was covered in some bandages, I started to take them off, knowing my immortal powers did the healing. I started to pull the one off my wrist, but stopped when I remembered the mark that appeared. My hands started to shake as I continued to take the bandage off, seeing the mark was still there.
"Guess it wasn't a dream...", I sighed. Feeling my head pounding, I slowly pushed myself out of the bed, holding onto the end as I calmed myself down.
This isn't a dream, it's real. You have a fucking demon mark on you. Breathe and ignore it for now. There's not much you can do...ignore the mark, ignore the dream..., I told myself the last part a few more times and sighed, letting a smile creep on my face. I felt the tavern shake and I walked towards window, seeing a mountain was split in half, the group on the other side of it. Feeling the Captains presence, he stepped in front of them and was saying something, but I was too tired to use my powers to read his mind, but guessed it was about continuing to stay strong for all of us. He turned his head towards the tavern and I smiled, waving towards him. He waved back and the group turned towards the tavern, waving at me as well.
You feeling better Breyanne? We noticed you knocked out when we all calmed down, Diane said to me telepathically.
Yes, a lot better. Are we fixing to head out?
She nodded and I gave a thumbs up, stepping away from the window and towards my closet, finding my normal shirt and fingerless glove sleeves, pants and shoes. I stripped out of my current clothes and into my normal outfit. I started to put my hair up, but then stopped, noticing it was getting a little too long for me to handle. Hearing the others coming into the tavern and Hawks mom walking, I telepathically called King to come up and for Diane to walk by my window for a minute. King knocked and opened the door. I stood in front of the mirror and noticed Diane walking by the window.
You are evil, King told me telepathically. I noticed a light blush and rolled my eyes in amusement. You'll be fine. She's my best friend.
"So what did you need us for?" Diane asked.
"My hair is getting too long for me to handle, so I was wondering if you could cut it for me King. And Diane, I wanted your opinion on what style", they both looked at me wide eyed, but then smiled.
"Do you have scissors?" King asked.
"I would say you can do it as short as your brothers. I would say you can pull it off", Diane said, "or if you want to still pull the hair back, then slightly above the shoulders."
"Surprise me, King", I pulled out some scissors from my drawers and handed them to King. He took them out of my hand and pulled out a hair tie, using it to mark a spot for where he needed to cut it. lol I heard a 'snip', feeling my head was a little lighter.
