"Oh shut up, you over-critical fuck cabinet!!" Roman remarked.

"You shut up, you overconfident fuck tard!" Virgil replied snarkily. Roman, face sporting a shocked expression, turned to Logan and Patton, who were sitting contentedly across the room in the love seat. "Did you hear what hE just said to me?!" Roman cried out.

Logan, absorbed in his book, gave no response though Virgil knew he heard them and this was just not a matter he wished to concern himself with at the moment. Patton, however, did answer Roman's outrage with a soft gaze and said, "Now, Virgil's comment was not kind, I agree, but you did start the name-calling kiddo so it wasn't exactly unprompted. I think both of you should apologize and ... oh I know! Hug it out!!"

Roman's hopeful expression fell and he glanced at Virgil from the corner of his eye, looking somewhat chastised. "Sorry Virg," he mumbled.

"Yeah sorry," Vigil muttered back, "But let's skip the physical affection, okay? I'm gonna head to my room." Without waiting for a reply, he left the living room, followed by three worry gazes.

Once the anxious trait reached his room, he made a beeline for his queen-sized bed covered in black sheets and his purple comforter. Not to mention the excess of pillows and his worn black cat stuffed animal that he would deny owning till his dying breath.

Virgil was not annoyed at Roman for his snipe, he actually quite enjoyed their arguments so long as they didn't get out of hand. His real reason for the change in mood was what Roman said after to the others, and on top of that, he said it using just too loud of a voice for him to handle at that exact moment. Then all the attention was focused on him and he couldn't stand the concern in their eyes, so he hightailed it out of there before he got even more overwhelmed.

As he burrowed into the nest of pillows, he tried to focus on his breaths to both steady his pounding heart, and distract himself from what began the whole thing. Just as his heart lowered to a calmer pulse, his door flew open revealing a smirking Remy. "Guess what I just heard abo- oh crap are you okay?"

The sudden entrance and loud bang caused by the door hitting the wall erased all the progress Virgil had just finished making and his breaths started getting labored. As he fought to regain control, Remy made his way to the bed and sat close enough Virgil knew he was there, but not so much that he felt crowded. "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine, you just startled me," the anxiety-ridden side assured after a few minutes of deep breaths.

"I hate to break it to ya Hon, but I know you and my dramatic entrances never do this, at most they make you jump if you're in the middle of something. So spill babes, what's up?" Although Remy gave off a not caring vibe, he was very perceptive and incredibly protective of his friends.

Virgil sighed loudly to make sure Remy knew that he thought he was being overprotective and responded with, "Nothing, we were just in the living room and I got a little overwhelmed is all. I had just finished calming down when someone decided to barge in an set me back." This last statement was accompanied by a pointed look at his Starbucks loving friend.

Remy looked slightly guilty and started to apologize, then saw Virgil's wrists. The hoodie lover had pushed up the sleeves once he was settled because when he needed to calm himself, his favorite clothing item helped grounded him. However, once he was fine again, he got overheated and usually ended up taking it off to cool down, but not in front of other people.
