you pushed the hand wrapped present against yuki's chest and looked away from him, flustered.

the green haired boy chuckled mischievously and watched you grow embarrassed in amusement.

your pink cheeks were too cute for him.

"h-hey! don't laugh." 

yuki smiled lovingly at your form. the thought of you getting him a gift squeezed his heart. but as soon as you glanced back at him, the smile left his face and he faked an annoyed expression.

"i knew you secretly liked me. if you loved me so much you should of just told me. it was so obvious in the first place."

you didn't think it was possible but your face grew even hotter at his comment. you crossed your arms over your chest in angry embarrassment and started to trip over your own words.

"i-- don't say. you're so annoying i swear. st- i can't even. y-you--"

"chill out, i was kidding y/n." yuki reaches his hand out to ruffle your hair and his smile made butterflies fly through your stomach.

you almost forget to say something. you were too distracted by his beauty. him calling your name also caught you off guard. most of the time he'd use the nicknames such as: idiot, dumbass and so on.

when yuki pulled his hand back you snapped back to reality and avoided eye contact. you felt like if you looked at him directly into his orange orbs your body would malfunction.

"wh-whatever. happy birthday by the way." you quickly fled the scene and left yuki on his own.

he held your gift to him in his hands gently, like broken glass, and sighed despite the smile creeping up his lips.

"i guess i'll have to thank her/him next time. haa what a pain~"
