"Are you kidding me? When?" I gawk at my mother as she tells me the news. She expects me to be happy, even ecstatic, but I'm not my brother.

"I know right, I can't wait to tell Gray! The flight is tomorrow at 8." She clamps her hands together, I look at dad who's lounging on the couch. They've been so distant.

"I don't want to go," I cross my arms, meeting eyes with my mom who genuinely just wants the best for me and Gray, but this isn't the answer, "are you and dad getting a divorce?" I ask, narrowing my eyes. My mom's wide grin turns neutral, not one emotion showing.

"Zach..." She lingers and I look at my dad who finally seems intrigued.

"Now Zachary, that's nothing to discuss at a moment like this," My dad fusses and I click my tongue at the roof of my mouth.

"It was a question and I just want an answer," I begin to tap my foot, anxiety taking advantage over my calmness.

"Zach, honey," my mom runs her hands through her hair, I stare at her expectantly, "y-yes honey, we are," She admits and I close my mouth. My father's head falls back and he rubs his temples, "we didn't want you to find out like this though." She tries to recover, I only shake my head.

"I already knew, it's fine. I'm fine," telling half the truth, I honestly knew it was going to happen sooner or later.

"I'm so sorry, Zach," my mother's eyes close and she looks down, I just sigh.

"It's whatever, when are you telling Gray?" I run my hands through my hair, than adjust the strings on my headphones.

"Telling Gray what?" I hear Gray say, slamming his feet on the ground when he steps off the last stair. I roll my eyes and stare at mom, who puts on a fake smile, looking at Gray brightly. I shake my head at the plastic attitude.

"Well, me, your dad, and Zach have a surprise for you," don't put me in this, I roll my eyes and she sighs.

"Okay... What is it!?" Gray exclaims, holding in his excited demeanor. I can't take this shit. I turn on my heel and walk up the stairs. When I hear a scream/squeal, I put on my headphones and blast my music. I enter my room, shutting the door behind me and locking it.

Going to see dinosaurs... How fun.

I roll my eyes and grab my suitcase from my closet. I look out the window, the snow blankets over the trees outside when I see a car pull up. My heart drops.

The fuck does she want?

I walk out the door again and bump into a elevated Gray. He bounces up and down, "did she tell you?" He smiles at me and I look out the window and see her get out of the car.

"Uh huh, it's great," I move away from him, and scurry down the stairs, "mom, Olivia's here." I tell her, hoping the panic I'm feeling isn't showing. She looks confused.

"What wh-" the doorbell rings and my mom's head snaps to the door.

"Can you..." I give her a begging look and she shakes her head.

"No, Zachary, you guys broke up last month, go talk." She pushes towards the door as it rings again. I gulp before nodding. I unlock the door and open it, meeting Olivia's face.

"Zach, I've been wanting to talk to-"

"What are you doing here?" I get straight to the point, not wanting to hear anything she says. I step out the door, she steps forwards but I hold out my hand which she stated at, "what are you doing here?" I say again, looking around to make sure no one sees my ex on my porch.

"Zach, I'm so sorry can we please try to fix things. I've been trying to make things right but your just so stubborn-"

"You came here to tell me I'm stubborn?" I laugh, not falling into her trap again.

"Babe ple-"

"No." I shrug and she looks incredibly hurt, a microscopic part of me wants to give her a hug, but the rest, doesn't give a damn and wants her to get the fuck off my porch.

"Zach, I'm really trying," She sniffles and I stuff my hands in my sweatpants.

"You've 'tried' way to many times," I roll my eyes and she grabs my arm which I quickly pull away from.

"Please Zachary," tears form in her eyes and I just shake my head.

"You cheated on me with, hmm, lets see," I pull out my hand and begin to count, "Logan, Marcus, Joshua, Marshall-"

"I get it!" She sobs and I give her a tight lipped smile.

"You don't actually, " she looks up at me, "because if you did, you wouldn't be on my fucking porch." I open the door and step back inside.

"Zac-" I slam the door before she can come up with some lame ass excuse.
