Niall's P.O.V.

I was just minding my own business, scarfing down some Peri-Peri Chicken from Nando's, when Liam barged into the front door and took billions of frantic breaths.

"Niall...Niall...it's...Lyann...she...told me...to give you...this letter..." Liam said, handing me the letter, taking a breath between every 1 or 2 words.

I stopped eating my Nando's and took the letter from Liam, and read the letter aloud.

"'Dear Niall,

By the time you've read this letter, I have probably gone away to the US to think something over... I know you don't know what I need to think over, so I'm telling you through this letter.

I've gone to think over my love for you.

You know, I really never really knew what love was.

Until I met you.

And to know you don't feel the same just kills me slowly every minute I'm with you. I've gone away so that, hopefully, I can come home with no feelings for you at all. Life can be like what it used to be. Just friends, always there for each other, able to turn to each other when we have problems, yet no feelings are flourishing between us. I know this letter probably put our whole friendship in jeopardy, but I just needed to get it off of my back for a long time...

I'm so sorry.

But then again, I guess leaving isn't the best idea after all.

Absence does make the heart grow fonder, doesn't it?

It doesn't matter.

I'm still leaving and no one can stop me.

Goodbye.

Love Always and Forever,

Lyann'...

She's leaving? But I do feel the same...I do..." I managed to choke out.

"Mate, do you realize what this means? You need to go and find her!" Liam said, breathing normally again.

"But she didn't even say which city or state she's staying in! How am I supposed to find her in a country that big?" I asked, clearly worried.

"I don't know, but we definitely need to think of something. She's our best friend, we can't let her do this. We don't even know how long she's staying! I'll talk to Louis, Harry, and Zayn and ask them what they think we should do. See you later, mate. Tell me if you think of anything!" Liam waved, walking out the front door and gently closing it behind him.

"What am I going to do..?" I asked myself.

Then I thought of something.

I grabbed my phone and quickly dialed Liam's number.

"Liam?" I asked through the phone, once he picked up.

"Yeah?" he asked.

"I think I know how we're going to find Lyann..."
