++ High above the heavens you floated to spread the word of God, your lungs screamed holy holy holy and your six marvelously pure white wings fluttered effortlessly in smooth motions. Your heart was full of love and joy, but something stirred at the bottom of your stomach and made you queasy... Something was just not right... ++

You soon had circled back towards Michael's castle, but just as you were landing you were met with a familiar face of an angel, Simeon. He had that all too familiar smile, and yet... He looked sad and conflicted like something had been weighing heavily upon his heart. You fluttered down gently to the cloudy stone walkway and ran into his arms, the warmth from him instantly warming you up as you did so.

"Hello Simeon!" You greeted with a bright smile, "This is such a wonderful surprise!"

Simeon chuckled lightly, "Michael said you would be out and about today so I thought I would see if you were hungry."

He held up a small basket with a gentle smile and you accepted almost immediately. Simeon led you towards a cool and shady spot in the shade of the large castle, you sat together in silence as he poured you a glass of wine and set out the grapes and cheese he had brought.

You sipped at the sweet yet dry wine and munched gently at the snacks, but Simeon was merely staring at his...

"Simeon... Is there... Is there something wrong?"

Simeon physically stiffened, "I... Is it that obvious?"

You nodded slowly, it was never often you could feel how uncomfortable he was, so it must be something awfully important if Simeon was like this. You had known Simeon, and most of the angels there, for your whole life and he had never been so aloof with you before.

You patiently waited for Simeon to build up the courage to tell you whatever it was that he needed to tell you, and you dared not to rush him.

"Things are... Not going well..." Simeon began, "The situation with the brothers and their sister's recklessness have become rigid... Michael has ordered a full out war this evening if they do not step down and surrender."

"A-A war?!" You exclaimed, "Michael would not dare turn his back on Lucifer and the others! He just can not! Michael should not!"

You were beyond baffled that you dropped the glass you were holding from the news you were hearing, how could Michael turn on his fellow angels... Even if they did something they were not supposed to, but... Was there really anything wrong with falling in love?

"(First name) please lower your voice... I am only telling you because you need to be careful until things have settled down..." Simeon placed a gentle hand against your's, but you yanked it away and stood to your feet.

"Simeon... I... I just can not support this war but nor can I just sit here and watch as my brethren and sister be castrated for being in love." You began and turned away from Simeon's fixed stare as you gazed at the vast cloudy skies before you, "I am going to go talk to Michael. Maybe if he listened to a voice of reason... Just maybe he will stop..."

Simeon tried to stop you from rushing off, but his words only fell upon deaf ears and your feet quickly carried you away to the throne that Archangel Michael sat at. You approached his throne with your head held high, your white wings spread wide and proud as you bowed to the angel.
