Chapter 4

"She sits up high, surrounded by the sun, One million branches and she loves every one."

We sit in the front row excitedly listening to them practice. They sound so amazing. Vic's voice fills the building You as Mike pounds away at the drums, then a monent with Tony and Jaime, then they all come together in perfect sync. I'm in fangirl heaven.

It's an hour before they start letting people in and the guys are on stage getting themselves prepped. They start breaking fans. Like actual fans. Not the people. It's weird i know but whatever haha. Vic calls to us and tells us to come on the stage for a sec. I think my heart got excited and grew wings because it wouldn't stop fluttering. It feels like I'm moving in slow motion. My hearts beating so loud I thought Mike was playing again. My legs feel like jello. I finally made it up on the stage. PHEW! All of the guys walk over to us.

"Hey so the guys and I have talked and well... We feel that since you're the birthday girl that we'd do something to help you remember this day for a long time." He smiled and it took everything i could to not pass out right there,

"Oh? W-wh-what'd you have in mind?" Jesus Christ Alaysia stop studdering!

"We want you two to stay backstage during the show. Kind of like a special VIP thing. You down?"

"YES!" E'Laura screams and scared all of us.

"Ahem what my overly excited friend means is yes, that would be the best." I smiled so hard my dimples started to show. Oh god not the dimples.

Vic stops smiling and stares at me. I start to feel nervous because is there something wrong with my face? Is there something in my teeth? "Wow, you have dimples. I love a girls with a beautiful smile and dimples to match." Jelly legs again. OH MY GOD. Before i could say anything back someone comes out and tells the guys that they have five minutes before showtime. Jaime points up to where we will be. Man we're so close we're practically touching them. I can't stop thinking about what Vic said about my dimples. Was he flirting with me? HA! Yeah right. He was just being nice since it's your birthday. But what if he was really flirting with me? Chewing snaps me out of my thoughts. I look over and see E'Laura eating a taco.

"Where the hell did you just get a taco?" I start laughing.

"Well while you were oh so deep in thought Jaime showed me the food. There's tacos and beers and a bunch of other stuff." She starts laughing too because she realises how ridiculous she looks.

The doors open and shortly after the show begins.

It's the last song of the night and Hold On Till may starts to play. I get excited because i love this song. As the song gets to where Vic should start singing, he doesn't. the music just keeps playing. Then Vic begins to talk.

"I know we don't usually do this but, tonight is a very special night for a very special girl. Alaysia? Will you come out on the stage please?" WHAT?! HAS HE LOST HIS MIND? NO WAY. NO. Not in front of all these people. E'Laura pushes me out and the crowd begins to cheer. "Now this girl here is celebrating her birthday tonight and we want to give her the best experience possible. So will you guys help us sing Happy Birthday?" Tony starts playing happy birthday then everyone begins singing. I tried to stop them but my tears begin to fall. I am an overflowing waterfall of happiness. After they sang happy bithday Vic wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into one of the best hugs i have ever had. "Happy birthday beautiful." he whispers into my ear. "Okay now everybody we got one last song and I want you all to make it count." I start to walk backstage agin but Vic stops me. "Where do you think you're going? We have another song to sing and you're staying up here." I smile my dimple showing smile and Hold On Till May begins.
