Monday 26th November
Today I woke up at 5 ( the usual) and my mum drove me to the nearest swimming pool. I swam and practised my diving for 2 and a half hours, then I got changed and went to school. I was sooooo nervous for today. Im exited to I told everyone at school and everyone said either 'well done' or 'good luck'. It got to the end of the school day really slowly. Then it got to the time when I had to go swimming. I was a nervous wreck. Finally we got to the pool , I went into the pink girls changing rooms and got changed. My coach said that I needed to go and have the intiview now so I went. The interview room was bright and colourful. The Olympic coach said ' hello my name is Sam and I am an Olympic coach, your coach has told me how hard you have worked . Is that true?' I said 'yes'.
The coach said ' okay , tell me what your name is '. I said ' my name is Ella'. The coach said ' okay ella, I know you love swimming and you have a great passion for it . Would you like to do some try outs and mabey be in the Olympic team. Im not certain that you will win but it would be good if you tried to get in to the team?' I said' are you serious yes, yes, yes. When do the try outs start?' He said' well ,if you give me your email then I will email you the right time'. I gave him my email and carried on swimming for a little while. When the club was over I got changed and met my mum outside. I told her what had happened and we both screemed in sync. Today was a brilliant day and I cant wait to tell everyone at school tomorrow.
