Maud Ferguso was thinking about Kathy Thunder again. She was thinking about her curvy, controlling thighs and charming hands.

Maud walked over to the window and reflected on her cozy surroundings. She had always loved beautiful Truro with its squared buildings. Annoying, but they were simply put. It was a place that encouraged her tendency to feel anxious.

Then she saw something in the distance, or rather someone. It was Kathy Thunder.

Maud gulped. Closing the window, she glanced at herself. She was a rude, beautiful tea critic with nothing but time to stop her. She represented the Champion Bay Port, though there was no beach in the state. Intellectually charming, her friends saw her as a bitter, burnt brute.

She wasn't prepared for Kathy's revelation.

The rain hammered like frogs on lily pads, making Maud jumpy. Maud grabbed her spotty hat, her first strewn since childhood, nearby; she massaged it with her fingers.

As Maud stepped outside and Kathy came closer, she could see the glint in her eye.

"I am here because I want a resolution," Kathy bellowed, in a proud tone. She slammed her fist against Maud's chest with the force of an infant's. "I freaking love you, Maud Ferguso."

Maud looked back, even more jumpy and still fingering the spotty hat. "Kathy," she replied.

They looked at each other with concern, almost as in a trance.

Maud studied Kathy's remarkable body. Eventually, she took a deep breath. "I'm sorry, but I can't give you this," she explained, in pitying tones.

Kathy looked fuzzy, her body a raspy rock.

Maud could see Kathy's body shatter in pieces as she walked away, hurrying into the distance.

Not even a cup of tea would calm Maud's nerves tonight.
