Zee Pruk Panich waited anxiously outside the busy bustling nightclub for his best friend Poppy. He was late again. Poppy had never been early in his life and if he did arrive early, something bad was going happen. That was the running joke that they had among their close friends. Jimmy and Tommy were twiddling with their phones while Zee was enjoying people-watching. It was the weekend and going out drinking with his close friends was one of the things that he enjoyed doing. A group of scantily clad women walked in front of them and he smiled as they stared at him and his buddies. He knew he was not too bad looking and with Jimmy and Tommy's cute looks, getting girls or even guys was not that difficult for him and his friends. The only thing was, he was not really interested. He was just happy with his life and with what he had.

A commotion brought his attention to his left where he saw a bunch of men circling another guy. He could not see clearly but the guy they were circling were covered in tattoos. His neck had an intricate tattoo design and it was rather big as it covered nearly the entire left side of his neck. The man's face was void of expression as if he did not care that he was in danger. The tallest amongst the guys grabbed the tattooed guy's neck and roughly shoved him against the wall. The tattooed guy still did not show any emotion nor say anything. Zee was so engrossed with what was happening in front of him that he failed to realise Poppy was tugging his arm urging him to leave. Zee felt apprehension for the tattooed guy. Should he help the man?

"Come on Zee. Let's go." Poppy urged.
"I think I... wait... Do we ... know..." Zee couldn't finish his sentence.
"I doubt it. I'm your best friend and I KNOW all of your friends." Poppy dragged him away.

Zee reluctantly left the scene but he could not take his eyes from the tattooed man. Even when he was surrounded by those thugs, his eyes were transfixed on Zee. It was rather unnerving for Zee. His mind was thinking as to where and when did he meet him. He could not place him in his memory. He was such a handsome looking fellow. It would be such a shame if they beat him up. But regardless how he looked, Zee was still worried about the tattooed man. Will he be alright?

"Zee... stop thinking about that guy." Tommy said.
"What guy?" Zee asked.
"The guy outside. Stop trying to help everybody!"
"I wasn't trying to help him." Zee explained.
"It crossed your damn mind." Jimmy suddenly interjected.
"It did NOT!"
"I know you for years Zee! Stop being too fucking nice!" Tommy growled.
"Stop cursing! I thought I knew the guy that's all."
"And... you would help him if you could." Tommy snickered.
"Jackass!" Zee smack Tommy on the back of his head.
"Yes he would." Jimmy laughed.

Zee was about to smack Jimmy when Poppy came arm's laden with drinks. They all stopped their conversation about the tattooed guy and enjoyed their drinks. Poppy just got a promotion and that night all drinks were on him. Tommy who loved to drink was the designated driver and he moaned and groaned as he was unable to drink any free drinks at all. He sulked like a child but ignored by his friends.
